The hotel is very clean and in a good location,although it is a bit of a walk into the town centre with very little in the way of resteraunts in the vicinity,do not go in to the Tajmahal round the corner it is awful.
The staff were very helpful and nothing was to much trouble for them.
We found the balconys were a bit on the small side but the room we were in had a great sea view.
The poolside area was well kept and we had no problems with getting a sunbed.The bar at the side of the pool was really nice with plenty of variety of snacks and drinks and the staff here were very friendly.

Hipocampo Playa Hotel: An excellent hotel. The staff very helpful and friendly. Most spoke good English. Spotlessly clean. But beware as when we were there we were the only British people there - the only other English speaking guests were South African. As long as you don't mind being surrounded by Germans everything was great. Not a problem for us but be warned - especially if you're booking independently.

The hotel was excellent. Staff were very friendly and always helpful. There was not a lot of daytime entertainment but we enjoyed the evening entertainment that we attended.
We stayed in the apartments but ate meals within the hotel. The food was excellent, and so much choice, and the service was very good.

The Hipocampo Playa Appartments were situated about 300metres from the Hipocamp Playa Hotel with which guests can share facilities.
It is 4 keys and this is well deserved. The communal areas are spotless and the appartments in general are in a very good state of repair. Having had an absolutely hideous holiday in Alcudia 2 years ago, we were determined to have a holiday with decent accomodation. We stayed in a 1 bedroomed appartment, the kids had proper day beds in the living area, air-con, beautiful sea view, satelite Tv although we only had CNN all the other channel were Spanish or German. maid service every day, clean towels every day. Pool was very clean and we were able to get sunbeds every day. This hotel and resort caters mostly for German visitors so this was our only disappointment-that we could not communicate.
