Only visited Majorca for a few days but very impressed.

Sol balmoral surrounded by its 2 sister hotels is in my opinion a great hotel for families. The staff seem very nice and profesional. When we arrived at the hotel our fridge did not work and there was no cot, within ten minutes of complaining at reception they had the cot delivered to our room and the fridge was changed.
The staff are very polite and seem to go out there way to help you.
The kids clubs are absolutely great, all run by professional staff and for different age groups aged 2 and up. The kids will thoroughly enjoy themselves and at the same time giving the mums and dads a couple of hours peace.
The location of the hotel is good, the beach although not big is gorgeous and only 5mins walk away. Also you can use the sister hotels pools and facilities so there is plenty of choice if you just prefer to be lazy and hang around the resort.
Entertainment at night was also good if you don't like what the Sol Balmoral has to offer pop along to one of the other hotels and enjoy the night there, again plenty to choose from..
Can't comment on the food from the hotel as we were self catering and ate out mostly.
All in all if you have children hotel Balmoral is highly recommended.

The hotel is located about 5 mins walk from the resort centre and the same to the cove beach which can be accessed by a about 200 steep steps.
The hotel is spotless with cleaners working throughout the day to maintain the cleanliness.
The food was buffet style with a good selection to suit everyones taste.
Hotel staff were helpful and the daytime entertainment was very good and the night time entertainment put on by the daytime entertainment staff was excellent. The staff used to rehearse for 2-3 hours a day to perfect the shows. Spoke both Spanish and English. They even spoke other languages when required.

Well, all in all it was a brilliant holiday there was always lots to do.
The food was good and so was the free drinks because we went all inclusive.
Tthe location of the hotel was really good it was near all the main shops and bars and the odd club. The hotels entertainment was really good to.
I would go back here.
