The first night I was there I got mugged on the premises. It was a frightening experience, police were called, but nothing was done.I asked reception if I could use their phone, so I could get my contract phone blocked asap,(as this was taken when I was mugged) but they would not let me.
Reps didnt seem interested, just sent me twice to the police station in Palma, saying there would be a translater there, but there never was.
This is the worst hotel I have ever visited.
I will never return to it.

I was surprised to read about how many people were mugged and broken into as we never heard of anything like that when we stayed there.
The cleaners were desparate to get into our rooms with towels and toilet rolls but we turned them away because we were still recovering from coming in from a night out a couple of hours before. The rooms were clean when we arrived but we had a problem with a door on one of the rooms. When we asked to be moved they moved us to the room across the corridor straight away.
The reception staff were helpful. Anything you needed they sorted out for you. When you stumble home from a night out and you havnt got a key you have to be let in by the security guard. Do not cross him. He has a very short fuse. He speaks a little bit of English and if you are alright with him he's alright with you.
The hotel is a five minute walk away from BCM which is great but it is about a fifteen minute walk to the main strip. We never ate in the hotel and we never say anyone eat there either.
Apparently there was entertainment on in the bar on a night but we never saw it. Nobody really stayed in the bar all night. The reps were in the hotel daily. There was always someone on reception.
The pool got really busy during the day. The hotel was full of groups of lads and lasses but that was expected.
It is very noisy when people come home from a night out. Music is playing people are shouting but it was all expected. Eventually the security guard sorted them out. and if he cudnt sort them out, then the arrival of the police did (the green men).
Overall the lads enjoyed it and would definatly stay there again. Magalluf is famous for young party-goers and is not a place for familys in my opinion. Its perfect for young people who are looking to get drunk and enjoy themselves.

Very good value for money. After all you get what you pay for but the apartments are clean and staff very friendly.
I really wouldnt go to Magalluf at all in the summer months but June and October are fine ... Its less nosey and a better class of people, if you get my drift ;)
We had a thoroughly good time and quite rightly the staff dont take any messing, which suits me just fine ... they must be sick of it all come October.
Not a place for kids to go to tho, its deffo for adults and groups.

We got to our rooms which were very spacious and clean.
The next moring we went down to the pool. The pool had plenty of sun loungers and there was plenty of space to choose from. Later on during the day the big groups of lads got noisy due to over indulging on Alcohol. One lad even stood in full view with his shorts on and decided to have a wee next to the pool. Even though there were families with small children around.
Three of our party went up to our rooms at midday, to place food items in fridge. Everything seemed fine on first glance but when a member from our party attended there room at 3pm. They found that their suitcases had been slashed open even though they were locked and all euros had been taken and a digital camera.
There was no forced entry but the suspect had tried to make it look like they had come from the balcony because they had tipped the bucket and mop over which the cleaners left. After checking all four of our parties rooms we found that non of the patio doors locked properly.
You were able to yank them open quite easily. But we believed that whoever had been in the room had entered with a key. Some of us had noticed earlier whilst getting ready in our rooms, two of the maids who were meant to be cleaning were trying on peoples fancy dress and having a laugh to themselves.
After this theft had taken place we decided to get a safety deposit box. We were able to get this free. The box was secure apart from the gap on the inside edge where items we able to fall and maybe forgotten.
When we reported the incident to the hotel staff they were non co-operative. They weren't interested. And they claimed that this was the first incident in 2 years. We found that very hard to believe.
Between the hours of 4am and 6am expect to be awaken by shounting and banging from other residents.
All in all I would never stop at the Martinique again.

Flights on time, around 30-40 euros for a taxi from airport, not bad really.
We got to hotel very late, but everything still buzzin, even the little bars around the hotel!
We dumped our stuff inside (rooms great, clean and everything we needed)and went over to the bars on the other side of the playpark (after a go on the swings!!)
Bars were good, especially the kareoke bar, we stayed there all night on one of our nights!
Hotel was all we wanted - a good sized pool, decent sleeping arrangements, good self catering facilities.
We didn't have any problems with security at all and our rooms were safe, with locking doors and patio windows.
We ate out every night at various places along the beach - names escape me, as the booze had addeled my brain by then!
It was a great hen do, hotel was great, dead cheap, great party atmosphere - highly recommended.

The outside facilities are very good, a large swiming pool with plenty of sunbeds. A heated indoor pool.Mini golf 2 euros for the kids.
We liked the location, not too far from the beach, at the far end of Magaluf.
The staff are very helpfull. Reception is 24 hours.
When we stayed there were lots of hen and stag partys all having a good time. We heard that the staff don`t tolerate any bad behaviour. We never saw any trouble and had a brilliant holiday.
Would we return, yes as soon as I can.

The hotel is lovely and clean, we didn't check into the hotel until the early hours of Friday morning and when we arrived back to the hotel on the Friday afternoon the room had already been cleaned - we'd only been in the room for 16hrs!!!
The hotel is in a good location not far away from all the bars.
We didn' eat at the hotel so I can't comment on the food.
We didn't go around the pool but it looked very nice.
The hotel seemed to be full of stag and hen parties and couples but there was a few children there. The only drawback to this hotel is the amount of noise that goes on at night, from around 4am to 6am you can hear doors slamming, people shouting, people banging on your doors as they pass by.
The staff were very helpful, we only had to contact them on one occassion when we had a lad banging on our doors at 6am who wouldn't go away.
All in all I'd go back to the Martinique but I don't think this hotel is suitable for children unless they only accommodate stag and hen parties in low season.

If you like a good nights sleep do not stay here. It did not matter what time of the day it was, there was noise from hen and stag parties, that had no consideration for any one else. I am in my twenties and love partying, but this lack of consideration from other guests was appalling.
We went to the beach most days as it was quieter there than the pool.
The whole complex needs upgrading. The lighting in the bathroom was poor, the patio doors did not lock. The sky television was three euros a day, and only worked until 6pm! All the drawers had rude and lurid pictures and comments on them. Which my nine year old took great delight in reading!
At the end of the day you get what you pay for, I will be paying a little extra next time and staying somewhere else

We never sampled the food there so couldn't say what it was like as we were self catering we tended to try local bars/restaurants for something to eat.
My friends and I wouldn't visit this hotel again due to the fact that on 2 occasions strange men let themselves into our apartment when we were in it. The 1st occasion a security man let himself in with a key without a single knock and hit that main switch putting all 3 of us in total darkness. We honestly had no idea what he wanted other than he kept repeating 2 men, 2 men. Also upon assuring him there were only 3 women he carried on standing there and left a few moments after.
The 2nd occasion was slightly more frightening, since the person entered the apartment from the outside balcony (no easy task when you're the last apartment 3 floors up?! And we also found out that night that our bedroom patio door opened easily from the outside as the lock was broken) straight into our bedroom and upon entering, stumbled and steadied themselves on my friend. She was to say the least a mite upset. This pretty much ruined the holiday along with the fact that neither night security nor reception were bothered that we could have been attacked or goodness knows what.
The reps however were really helpful and understanding.
