Location
The food was varied and very good, my partner is very fussy about her food and she loved the choice we had, roast meats (excellent) yorkshire puds, roast spuds, fish most days, paella was great at night but poor at lunch. Fresh rolls every meal time (nice and warm). Did not care for the show cooking the "curry" was tasteless.
Breakfast was great English and local bacon, 4 kinds of sausage, 3 diff eggs mushrooms, black pudding, hash browns, fried potato, beans, tomato, fried bread, plus fruit, cereals and pastries. Sandwiches, hot dogs, burgers chips and toasties from 10 till 6.
Beer was moderate but spirits were very good, loads of choice and large measures, Herminio was great, dry sense of humour but very friendly when you took the time to talk to him. All of the bar staff were very good, hard working and a good laugh.
The hotel is about 5 to 10 Min's walk from town centre up a hill but plenty of cheap taxis just out of hotel.
Could not fault any of the hotel staff, they would do anything they could to make a great holiday for us.
The entertainment was good both days and nights, with plenty to do, Will and Sally worked very hard to entertain all age groups With a big Thank You to Will for being such a nice genuine friendly guy. An "entertainer" from the Barracuda, Chris, came to the Pax nearly every day of our second week, he did not seem to like children, he was good to their face and parents but said some nasty things about them when he thought he could not be heard by other guests.
We will definitely go back to the Marina Pax again especially if Will is there, but not if Chris is again trying to be an entertainer.

The entertainment was hit or miss. We saw a couple of really good shows and a couple of bad ones. The animations team weren't the best I've seen. The bar service was very good.
There were 2 pool areas with sun loungers - watch out for the early reservers!!
Located at the quieter end of Magaluf but only a five minute walk from the start of the bars/restaurants we found the location excellent. However, if you are less mobile must warn there is a bit of a hill on the walk back to the hotel.
We really liked this hotel and would definately go back.

Our room was large /on the third floor over looking one of the pools and a sea view
Could have done with a few more drawers to store clothes but wardrobe large
|The kids loved the football pitch and mini golf and table tennis - and the hotel entertainment staff had activities in the daytime.
2 pools one at side of hotel this goes in the shade early afternoon and another round the back of the hotel which is shared with the sister hotel, this one is great and you do not have to reserve a bed, we went around 10am and there were plenty of beds.
Lots of short stay stag and hen parties never really bothered us and quiet at night
Great kids buffet bar burgers, chicken nuggests fish fingers, sausage every day so at least there was something to choose from -good adult selection carvery every day plus other selected dishes

The only bad thing was the entertainment and the lounge where it was,the furniture was a bit shabby. The daytime games were OK and most people joined in.
Now the food ........ excellent. For all-inclusive a great deal of thought had gone into the presentation of the food. Roast beef dinners, with yorkshire pudding - blueberry pancake and ice-cream. Yum yum.
This hotel is worth a visit for the food - expect to put on a few pounds.
It is situated at the top end of Magaluf and is in walking distance of two water parks and the pirates show. All worth a visit.
We went to the family pirates show and the boys loved it - there is an un-cut version late at night. We were on the 7th floor and had a cracking view overlooking the sea.

The all inclusive deal is more than value for money. All meals are buffet style but there is also a chef available every night.
Breakfast everything you want from full English to fruit cereals meats cheeses etc. Lunch, salads, fish, meat, italian chips etc a wide and varied choice.
Dinner as lunch but also carved meats, yorky pudds, superb blueberry pancakes and cakes, puddings, ice-creams also a dedicated kids area chips, hot dogs, burgers, nuggets plus everything kids like. My children are picky eaters but there was more than enough to keep them happy.
The bar, easy to be served as much alcohol to float at battle ship.
Pool area, kids pool large pool plus pool around side of hotel lots of sunbeds no need to put towels out nice and clean good outside bar and snack bar.
Rooms, spotless slightly basic could do with more storage bathrooms spacious in family rooms.
Entertainment, on the hole very good but have it in mind to enjoy yourself your on holiday.
The kid are well looked after lots of things to do day and night, Sally and the entertainment staff work hard
and do a great job.

The cleanliness of the hotel was good maids cleaned the rooms every day, clean towels (if left on floor in bathroom) The food was fantastic plenty of choice, roast dinners, pasta, salads, desserts, breakfast even had proper bacon.
The location was good 2 mins to beach and 5-10 mins walking to centre/strip. The entertainment was ok but cannot really comment because we was only there for 3 days and it being a party usually went out around 11 in the evening. Would definately go back to this hotel, infact thinking of booking again for a short break next May.

Entertainment OK.
Rooms quite spacious for all inclusive.
Pax better than Barracuda as there are 2 good size pools and crazy golf, playground, football courts for kids also lots of activities such as archery.
Location good near the beach and not too far from bar street.
Would definitely visit this hotel again.

The hotel was very clean. Rooms basic not a lot of storage. Some rooms on the upper floors had excellent views over the pool and sea.
The staff were always helpful.
The location of the hotel is excellent. Not too far to walk to the centre but far enough away from any noise (about 10 minutes walk).
Entertainment not fantastic but ok for all inclusive. I would recommend this hotel. Far better than it's sister hotel, the Barracuda.
