Don't go!

Best rooms are on the 3rd floor of the hotel. From the middle to right the view is gorgeous. Buy/hire a fan as there's no air conditioning.

Enjoyed our 4 night (Sun-Thur) stay in Magaluf. Resort was fairly quiet but would imagine it gets busy at the weekends with the stag & hen parties. Have been here 4 times now & think Magaluf is a lovely resort with a clean sandy beach & lots to do for everyone. Its nothing like people who have never been imagine it to be

Magaluf is a great place if you want to party hard and have fun with your mates but don't take your children it is not suitable. We would definitely go back as there are some great bars and they do good deals on booze - you need to get wise to this and negotiate before you go in! I'd go back again but not to the Martinique.

The resort itself has altered since last visit 6 years ago and I think its reverting back to the days of 18-30 groups. We travelled with a child aged 8 and literally only a handful of bars were interested in our custom, they seem more interested in groups of hen/stag parties, although I must say didnt see any trouble all week. The beach was kept clean and tidy it costs ten euros for two sunbeds per day. Rambos bar still serves the best sangria in the world and he and his family always give good value for money and no naff drinks. the piano bar also good value if you can get a seat. i would still go back to the resort as i know the places we like but would probably try a different hotel and prefer the self catering as in resort you can still get a pint san-miguel for one euro and a steak in peppersauce for around seven euors. would highly recommend the nawaab indian resteraunt on the front a bit more expensive but lovely and no dodgy stomach the day after. Best pint puerto rico bar beachfront, best sangria rambos, best shorts piano bar. maybe not to family friendly now in the resort but we made the best of it and would go again!

Resort busy and full of life and plenty of things to do. For groups, couples and family's. This is my 6th visit to Magaluf and would go back and stay again.

this place is really buzzing with nightlife and would definately go back but not as a couple, a bigger group would be better as its more aimed at that. highly reccomend the tartan arms its a great pub and the staff there made us feel really welcome :)

Found magalluf to be scruffy although it has got a nice beach. It is a resort that caters for young groups that go to party and i dont think there is enough going on to attract families or older holidaymakers. We found popeyes across the road from the guadalupe and upstairs from manos a good family pub and they have a bouncy castle for kids. Boston bar around the corner below the sol y mar is a nice clean bar with big brother on for those who like to watch it. For food we found the cottage good with huge baguettes, hollywood was ok and tom browns but one to avoid is RUBYS across from the hotel Samos. We went in one day and were giving 3 sets of scruffy cutlery when asked for clean ones we didnt even get an apology. The staff all look like they could do with a bath and a change of clothes. One woman was wiping her sweaty face on her scruffy apron another ripping a bag of chips open with her teeth. A lot of bars are struggling to make ends meet in this resort and the owners and staff go out of their way to accomadate you always friendly and smiling so visit these places not places like rubys who if they go out of business this season theyve brought it on themselves.
