Best rooms are on the 3rd floor of the hotel. From the middle to right the view is gorgeous. Buy/hire a fan as there's no air conditioning.

Magaluf is everything you would expect really - sun, sand and lots of bars and clubs. During March it was not too bad, but I can imagine it would be a real nightmare during high season. Some very good pubs with cheap alcohol. At this time of year, they are desperate to get you into the bars so you can haggle your way in and get them to give you vast amounts of free alcohol. Despite the beach having blue flag status it was very dirty and had a lot of litter on the sand. They were making some effort to clean up the sand but it didn't seem to be having much of an effect.

Clean resort, well looked after, nice to see this.
Entertainment, not gone in for as we only walked around the shops and got a lot of exercise.
Beach, lovely and inviting, if only we were younger! Oooohh!
Would visit this resort again, yes, but not staying in a hotel!
March is the best time to go, before the crowds! The weather was warmer than in UK, and we enjoyed all our outdoor leisure. The ticket agent in the street at the back of the hotel gives a good discount for 55 year olds, and over, on the coach trips. We recommend them and the trips! Happy Hols! Roll on next time!

Magaluf - Fantastic, a bit for everybody, all ages.
We went in winter but the entertainment was still excellent and the restaurants (especially Tom Brown's) were brilliant.

Magaluf has it all, if you want it quieter get the bus out of town , santa ponsa has got some great tapas bars.
Be carefull of the flower sellers at the cathedral their good and quick to get youre money as well as youre wallets.
Get the wooden train from palma(SINGLE)and get the bus back through the mountains, very cheap day out and beutifull scenary(sit on the right on the bus!!!!!!.

Magaluf itself was ok. 2004 was alot colder than the previous 2 years in March, we didnt get on the beach, so we can not rate it, sorry. The streets are clean, apart from the odd little dog being cut short, but I must admit its not as bad as in the UK.
Entertainment outside the hotel is good, most bars have a band or solo artist on in the evenings. The Irish Bar and Baco's were our favourites last year, along with the Green Parrot and Britania Bar. It is of course St Patricks day the day before we leave so I am sure we are going to have a brilliant last night this year.

The location was faultless with everything you could want just a short walk away. Go out of season and you won't find EVERYTHING open but there's still loads to do. With playparks and touristy places and bars on every corner.
Watch out for the touts though! Mostly English so just pretend you're deaf or Croatian or something.

The resort i found to be very well situated, it was quiet when i went because of the time of year. Some of the back streets were grubby but so are the ones at home so nothing different there. All in all a great holiday and worth a visit
