The hotel was as you would expect from a three star main chain hotel no more no less.

The maid service was as advertised with the room being adequately cleaned.

Location superb for during the day and the beach, the beach is probably the highlight as the pool is fairly heavily shaded. However perhaps a bit out of town for night time with a taxi or bus ride required to reach any decent quantity of shops and restaurants.

Hotel entertainment was however very poor and repetitive at night with the standards being poor even for a hotel chain.

Arrived during a storm but was cheered by the welcome from the staff. Cases were taken to the room which was top floor and with a sea/pool view-I'd emailed to ask for this.

Toiletries provided in bathroom and clean fluffy towels provided when you wanted them. Fridge in room and small seating area as well as seats on balcony.

Maids kept everything spotless and were very friendly.

Restaurant staff couldn't do enough to help and the food was very good and varied with healthy options if you so wished.

Different theme nights each evening and animation team dressed up greeting you outside the restaurant. Waiters were fantastic with the babies/children.

Entertainment team worked very hard and Grease & Celtic Fire shows were particularly good.

All in all a really good hotel and will stay in Iberostar hotels again.

First Choice Premium service was very good too.

We travelled on 25 June 2005. The hotel was fabulous.

I was a bit worried as we have a 2 year old daughter and it was her first time abroad. We asked for a sea view, quiet room on top floor. They could not accommodate the sea view as they were all full, but the room was what we asked for and more. The room was a family room which was brilliant.

I cannot fault the staff at all as they rang us when they had a sea view room available but we were happy where we were as we had partial sea view anyway! The cleanliness is superb.

The food is variable and good, a lot of it. Entertainment was brilliant for the kids in which my daughter kept dancing to.

The beach is lovely but my daughter does not like the sand so we had to stop by the pool. She loved it! Lot of reserved sunbeds with towels but if you get there early enough like us at 8.00 am you won't find any problem.

I would visit this hotel again as we all thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Highly recommended!!

Great hotel and right on the beach, most of all we didnt get hassle of anyone. Food good, very clean and nice staff.

Lots of pubs and eat outs, 1 in particular is the rose and crown right across the road, great pub grub at a good price and the entertainment was a good laugh with dj dane from wigan!!

If you want to get away from the germans go there! Be warned of any "british" bars run by spanish and spanish staff who couldnt understand anything we said (george and dragon) if you like a long wait for cold food thats the place to be!

Apart from that a lovely resort and would go there again.

For a family hotel with lots of little ones about, the grounds, hotel and pool area were immaculate. Daytime entertainment was based on a format we had seen before and if it's you're sort of thing, there is plenty to do through the day. I don't think I saw a miserable member of staff all week and the fresh carnations in the bathroom were a nice touch, as was the towel shaped like a swan. The food at the beach bar was a bit pricey compared to some of the restaurants but it was quite nice.

The food at the Rose & Crown (directly opposite) is fairly basic but it is good and pretty cheap. If you go there in the evening though, be prepared to wait.
If you don't like karaoke or quizzes, don't stay there late. The host only knows about 4/5 songs and he likes the sound of his own voice.

Other than the Rose, there is plenty of variety available a shortish walk to the right of the hotel as you come out of reception. The nearest Pizza Hut is a 7e taxi ride away, but that is the livelier part with a lot more shops and eateries. There is no Mcdonalds (but who cares).

Getting a sunbed with sun all day is a big problem.
There is just a bit too much shade around the pool for sun-worshippers, but the beach is good. 3.5e per day for a bed though.

Alcudia does have it's own water park, not as grand as those in Magaluf but there's enough there for a good day out. About 10e in a taxi.

All in all, it was a pretty good deal.

Iberostar Dunas Park is a fantastic hotel with very high standards of staff, entertainment, food and cleanliness.Every has a smile and the time to stop and say hello.
The entertainment staff were superb and clearly work very hard and obviously enjoy their jobs very much to put in the hours they do.
The location was great as we had 2 children so we mixed the days by the pool and the beach as the beach was a minutes walk.
The one thing i would request is a room within the park as we backed onto the road which could be quite noisy at times but this didnt disturb us much and is the only thing that i would change.
We are looking at booking again next year and bringing extra family with us.

The Dunas Park Apartments were excellent in every way. There was no fighting for sunbeds around the pool, although it was quite shady, so we opted for the sunbeds on the beach, which was directly behind the pool area. There was plenty of entertainment for children and adults and the staff were friendly and professional. The gardens were lovely and well looked after. The location of the apartments was good, as there was enough going on without the 'Blackpool' factor of nearby Alcudia. We found many great restaurants, the Boy, being a particularly good one. For English breakfast the George and Dragon was very good value for money, as it was also for 'fast food'

The Dunas Park Aparthotel is in an exellent beachfront location. The apartments are spacious, clean and well equipt.
The staff are very helpful and the entertainments staff especially good, the show put on by themselves 5 nights a week(the other two were professional shows) were worth staying at the hotel for.
If you are looking for a late night party type holiday this one is not for you, it is a good half hour walk to where the action is but there are many good restaurants and bars just along the road. We had an excellent holiday and would not hesitate to go back to the Dunas Park.

We had a wonderful week at Dunas Park. The apartment was spotless and the whole area was kept very clean. The pool area and beach were superb for the children as they were only seconds away. There was plenty to keep everyone occupied and many restaurants to choose from (close by). We recommend the George and Dragon for its lovely food. The Rose and Crown also deserves a visit. This hotel was particularly suitable for young children as it mainly accommodated families. We would not hesitate to return. I would recommend that you visit the Western Water Park in Magalluf. It was a fantastic day out for all. We shall definitely be going again. Wonderful weather, accommodation and food.
