From the moment we arrived we could tell we made a good choice, the staff were helpful and friendly, the food was excellent everyday, the hotel was very clean.
We celebrated my daughters 7th birthday while we were there, and ordered a cake at the cost of 16 euros, which was a big size and very nice, they also brought it to our table and sung happy birthday in Spanish.
The beach was a short walk away which was beautiful, although we spent most of the time around the hotel pool.
The reps were brill especially Roly. The kids club are excellent, and get 2 hours of time for yourself, perfect for chilling out.

Rooms were a bit small as there were three of us and others had the same feelings. These were very clean though. The apartments across the way may have been better in retrospect.
Hotel staff really good, food excellent. Pool superb and lots for kids to do - playgrounds for different age groups plus kids' clubs. Entertainment staff were really good - Roley and Annabel took on daily programme enthusiastically.
Only real gripe about hotel was drink prices e.g. almost four euros a pint and the bar staff seemd to revert to Spanish and talk about me at times - was I paranoid??

The food was very good, something for everyone from our young daughter (2yrs) to our 13 yr old.The breakfasts had english breakfast style food (sausage/egg/bacon/toast etc) but also had healthier options (fresh fruit/cereal) Evening meals were very good also and had food that you were used to at home home but also a good selection of Spanish salads and paellas etc. The staff in the buffet restaurant were very courteous and professional, especially Alex the head waiter. Drinks at beakfast are self service and free (tea/cofree/milk/juice) however you have to pay for drinks in the evening - We only drank water and it was 1.90 euro for a 0.5ltr bottle.
All hotel staff (especially the cleaners who came every 2nd day to clean our room) were friendly and always made an effort to say hello and have a friendly chat, even if we were sometimes speaking broken spanish/english.
Entertainment was good.....Beatles tribute band/magic shows etc.
I would recommend the excursion to the Sunday Pollensa market and Formentor. The Thomson guide was very informative/the Pollensa market/village beautiful and the views from Cap de Formentor breathtaking. This was 18 euros each.

The rooms are basic but comfortable. TV's in room have bbc1, bbc2 and cbeebies, but if you want to turn volume up louder you will have to pay for remote. No fridge in room costs 7.5 Euros a day to hire. Cot was supplied for our 16 month old with blankets and sheets. Balcony's quite small with 2 chairs and a small table on with a small rack for drying clothes on. Cleaners were fantastic bedding and towels changed every 2 days. Safe in room cost 38 euros for 2 weeks and you get 3 euros back.
Bar service is good but no wonder at the price they charge for a pint at 3.80 euros and coke at 1.90 euros for a small glass no wonder we starting going elsewhere for a drink. Cheers bar is brilliant for all kids open until 2 am lots of games for kids, people dressed as tweenies and other characters doing dances, quizzes and karaoke plus a big arcade.(2.30 for a pint and 1.50 for a coke). Plus if you are unfortunate enough to be in the bar/pool area at 1 am in the morning, be prepared to be kicked out. The pool area and bar are locked down at 1 am until 9 am. If you are chatting with friends or just relaxing having a beer you either have to sit in reception or go up to your room, we felt like kids being told to go to bed.
The pool was very cold and if you are taking a small child with you introduce them to the water slowly as it is a shock to the system try the sea or hidropark its warmer. There is a kids club for over 3's which is free, but if you

The bar is very expensive costing 3.80e for a pint of san miguel compared to 2.30e in the local pub.The bar closes at 1am and you are asked to leave to finish your drinks in reception area ,the bar area then reopens at 9am which also gives you access to the swimming pool at this time.
Cheers bar over the bridge is a fantastic pub which keeps the younger kids entertained while there is an arcade next door for the older kids.
Pirates is an excellent show, expensive but worth it ,we were a bit frustrated as the bus droppped us off at 5pm but the doors do not open until 5.45 leaving you in the heat for a good 45 mins. Also we were never given the option of quarter deck but the only difference seemed to be expensive and they had table cloth, glasses and proper plates rather than all plastic like the main deck. They also had champagne and had priority service.
The staff at the hotel were excellent very friendly and helpful. The children clubs are only on for 2 hours a day but the reps are excellent,Thomson have got an excellent team working there. There is a mini disco at 8pm followed by presentations then at 9pm it is bingo time.At 10pm the main entertainment is on and the reps do a show once a week.
We really enjoyed this holiday, meeting some great people - Hi Maz, Lisa & Kye! However we would not go back to this hotel.

It was soon evident that Roly Poly Shmoley, Annabel and Carleen were as enthusiastic as the previous entertainers. They gave 110% each and every day making sure there was plenty of activities to keep the children and adults entertained.
Alex who is in charge of the resteraunt and kitchens did his usual professional job making sure that we were escorted to a table on the first night of our holiday, something he has always done. The food was excellent yet again, plenty of choice and always piping hot.
The reception staff, overlooked by Sue were extremely helpful always polite and very customer friendly.
Juan, Jose, Pepe, Fernando and Manuel made sure everybody who used the bar service were served as quickly as possible and as in the previous years always had plenty of time for the children.
This year because the temperatures were so high we spent most of our time on the beach rather than sweating it out at the pool side. This meant a short walk across the main road which normally took about 7 minutes. No hardship really.
Well done to everybody associated with the Hotel they made our stay an unforgettable one.We will definitely be booking again in the near future.
