I would say first and foremost that the Viva Bahia is in Playa de Muro, not Alcudia.
The whole place was spotlessly clean inside and out with a team of cleaners scrubbing the sunbeds, polishing the floor, trimming the flowers, sieving the pool, emptying ash trays, etc, etc. It truly was spotless everywhere.
They even carry out their written threat to remove towels from sunbeds before 9.15am. How I chuckled as I sat and watched the maintenance man casually folding big handfuls of towels then sauntering off to the reception with them.
Rooms were cleaned 5 times a week and again were spotless. My only slight grumble was the lack of a toaster, microwave and cereal bowls but I experienced this problem at a previous Viva hotel so its obviously company policy not to provide the utensils for a standard English breakfast.
