Apartment - Enough room for 2 adults/2 children, and although the kitchen area is tiny we ate out all of the time so it didn't matter. We had fourth floor room overlooking the National park which was ideal because you could go back at around 6 and drink a beer and still catch a few rays whilst watching the wildlife and jumping fish!Pool views had the sun all day which is pointless as you are out anyway.Free sky TV although music channell did not work.
Cleanliness - Could not fault in any way, room/towels cleaned 5 days a week and somebody seemed to be constantly cleaning around the pool area/complex all the time.
Food - Whilst we went SC we did eat off the Al a Carte menu around 7 times, this made life easier whilst the entertainment was on, the food was superb the best being the Mixed Kebab/prawn curry, to much to eat so took back to room for laters sad!
Bar food fantastic with very generous portions and the kids food was also great.
Staff - The staff were brilliant any request was delt with immediately and spoke excellent English.
Entertainmnet - Great for the kids/adults throughout the day/evening with mini disco from 8-9 with Bufo (Viva Blue character) with more entertainment from the Viva Blue team form 9 - 10. Very professional shows, we saw Moulen Rouge, Abba Gold, Grease, Cabaret, "We will roc you" tribute, Jukebox, Cinderalla, Beauty and the beast and The lion King. Whilst this may not be to everyone tastes our 9 and 4 year olds loved every minute and we could chill out.Evening entertainment finished at 10 so still time to go out to a few more bars.
Pool - Pleanty of sunbeds and whilst you were not supposed to reserve, as the other guests did so did we. 3 great pools and one indoor although the weather was that good we never used it, 85 ish for 2 weeks with one cloudy day.Table tennis/pool/mini golf/tennis/football/basketball all right by the poolsode bar.
Supermarket - on site and well priced and mostly cheaper than outside shops which I thought was unusal, very freindly staff again.
Nearest beach - 5 minutes walk
Hotel location - great
That sums up a fantastic holiday could not fault them in anyway and am looking already to got to their Village in Menorca in late August.

Hotel is beautifully laid out and as describe it was very clean and of good standard in decor. Hotel is also disabled friendly, six adapted apartments per block with 4 blocks available, ramps and lifts. Friendly, helpful staff and lovely view from balcony if you are facing the nature reserve.
Nice indoor swimming pool again disabled access from electric chair and a Jacuzzi. Coin operated launderette or hotel will do your laundry for a charge.
Minus points and I am being honest as I think it will help you decide whether to chose the Viva Blue. As we went in October it was very quite many of the shops and restaurants were not open and the entertainment at the complex was on but fell flat due to hardly any audience.
The gym had no cardio equipment working. If you like to watch the television only euro sports and CNN is in English. There are very few English speaking tourists in the hotel at this time of year.
If you have a back problem do not stay at the Viva Blue the beds are the most uncomfortable I have ever slept in. Both my wife and I suffered terrible to the point of deciding whether to end the holiday early. Other people complained of the same problem.
Would I go back no but only because of the beds and also every day new people arrived at all times of the day and night as the hotel caters for five different countries and numerous arrivals and departures occur in 1 week.

The rooms were spacious and very clean. The complex operated a 'green' policy for recycling and towel changes which was brilliant (even though they changed the towels nearly every day).
We self-catered but did try the breakfast buffet once and it was again, excellent value, with foods to satisfy all tastes.
The location was just right for us as the beach was our main priority and it was out of the way of an 'Enlishy' Alcudia centre, visitors preferring a bit more night life or choice may find it a bit too out of the way.
The staff were always around to give advice and the shop staff in particular were very friendly. I was particularly impressed with a small bottle of bubbly from the hotel, which was left in our room on my birthday!
Though end of season, the entertainment crew were still hard at it night and day with endless enthusiasm. For a warm alternative in early autumn I would definetly recommend this complex.

Being lazy we chose to stay half board and were very glad we did the food was excellent with loads of choice and a different selection every night and we still had the benefit of an apartment with all self catering facilities if required.
The rooms were OK, air conditioning was included - liked the idea of the sink being separate to the other bathroom facilities. Rooms were cleaned 5/7 days.
The entertainment in the hotel was excellent both day and night time, the entertainment team certainly earned their money and unusually for night time entertainers in hotels they actually sang during their performance there was no miming. The kids liked that there was no 'kids club' where you had to go and stay for a couple of hours - instead the team would announce from the stage an activity and the kids could take part if they wanted to.
Couldn't say much about the location as we only went outside the hotel once to go to a water park as the kids couldn't be dragged from the in-house entertainment!
There weren't many English staying at the hotel - 80% Scandinavian - but that didn't bother us.
There were always loads of beds available by the pool but they were packed in quite tightly and DON'T go in school holiday period if your not a children fan because they were everywhere.
Would definitely recommend this hotel our kids are 10 and 12 and they loved it and it certainly made our life easy with there being so much to do - next time we may even leave the hotel!
