I dreaded arriving at this hotel because of the reviews (which I didn't read until after I had booked)but I needn't have worried, on the way to the hotel the rep told us that Mirgai 1 had been closed, either for the season or for refurbishment,so we were put in Mirgai 2.(which had been refurbished). What a relief!
The hotel was clean, although towels could have been better,(they were a bit threadbare) and I would have liked the bin to have been emptied more often,three days was a bit long.The staff were friendly and kind especially at the bar & reception.
The location of the hotel is right on the beach front, you couldn't ask for better.We were on the fourth floor,a perfect view.absolutely stunning.No privacy on balcony as open railings surround it.
Would definitely return.

Like others who have posted on this site, I only read the bad review after I had booked - so I was dreading arriving at the accomodation!
Check in was extremely quick - less than 5 minutes. Upon arrival at the room, I was very pleasantly suprised. The room was basic (which I expected for what I had paid) but very clean with plenty of fresh towels. The position was great, over looking the pool and beach.
The pool area is very small, but the pool was very clean with plenty of sunbeds. Due to the time of year the pool was never busy and suited us perfectly. I would definitely return again.

This hotel is HELL on earth, no word of a lie. DO NOT got to this hotel.
It is dirty & needs to be pulled down. When we arrived we found our balcony door smashed & held together by tape, not at all safe for kids or anyone for that matter. The floors had not been cleaned for months by the look of them.
We went to reception & asked to be moved & they said NO. We then called Direct Holidays. A rep came & moved us straight away to the Bouganvilla in Sa Coma.
I don't think Direct Holidays should be selling this to anyone. God help you if you have booked this hotel.

This hotel is not as bad as the reviews you ma have read. When we arrived the hotel was spotless and the service first class. The rooms were very clean although the bathroom needed updating, our 2 person room was actually for 4 people so very spacious. The hotel is overlooking the beach and on the main stracth in S'illiot so perfect for expolring.
Overall our stay was great, our room was clean, the hotel was very clean, the staff very helpful - and the obligatory happy hour in the bar. However would not recommend for families as not a lot for the kids to do apart from a pool table and a small pool!

We stayed in the apartments attached to the hotel.
We had to walk up 3 floors as there are no lifts, but wasn't too much of an issue. When we first walked into the room it was obvious that the decor had seen better days, especially the bathrooms, very outdated and a couple of tiles were chipped on the walls. Once we got to the balcony we forgot everything else, the view was absoultely amazing. The sea was right in front of us.
Our apartment had 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms which was very nice and after the first day you didn't seem to notice that they were outdated. The beds were all clean, tv is only in spanish so a waste of time really and the fridge wasn't very called, but when you have got gorgeous restaurants just below you, you don't need to cook anyway. Bar Antic amazing, fab food and staff.
