The hotel was absolutly fabulous. They had good shows and evening entertainemnt every night. Which included a clown for children at the start of the night.

The pool was really nice and was allways clean. the staff were terrific and helped to make you feel relaxed and comfortable with where you were.

The location was fantastic as you needed to walk about 10 steps over a small road and you had reached the beach.
Overall the hotel was fantastic and I have booked to go back this year about the same time.

This was our 3rd year in a row that we have booked directly with this hotel and we have already booked for 2007.

We like to go for the last 2 weeks in August, this seems a very popular time as at least 8 other families and one group of 18 seem to be there every year.

The hotel is well run with entertainment for all the family every night with a few high qulity acts/shows a week .

The hotel does offer an all inclusive board basis if that is for you but if not there are many fine places to eat close by.our kids are 16,to 18,and mainly like to stay close to the hotel spending most of there days around the pool which is very clean with a good sized terrace for sunbathing and is next to the bar for drinks etc.

Third visit to Playa Moreya Appts.

Previously booked with Direct holidays but hotel staff so friendly and helpful it is far easier and cheaper to book direct; you arrange flights to Palma and they arrange transfers.

Hotel is located right on the beach with a bridge over the estuary leading to the shops and excellant resort of Sa Coma.

Loads to do both at the hotel and locally.

Hotel most friendly we have ever visited; child friendly. Some good entertainment most of which revolves around the audience and encourages participation which tends to also gel the guests together.

S'Illot is a lovely but quiet resort; fantastic beach with good mix of nationalities. Busy during the whole day.

Hotel now all inclusive but would recommend self-catering as there are so many good restaurants nearby; check out the Red Lion and Poker Restaurant for a fantastic meal and service.

Henriette and her team are the best in Majorca and we love them very much!!

having visited this hotel 2yrs in a row.its now time for a change.the 2nd year was no where near as good as the 1st year..lots of changes.the entertainment was a real let down,we spent most evenings away from the hotel.pool area just doesnt have enough beds.most people getting up at 6am to put towels on them!simply isnt fair.rooms were ok clean and tidy but plagued with ants..yuk!! and most definatly in need of air con,so you can shut your door at night instead of having to listen to the coaches pull up dropping guests off.i suppose you get what you pay for!! we would go back to the resort but maybe further afield and different accomadation.

We came here last year and thoroughly enjoyed our stay; so much we booked direct this year and returned. Having never booked direct the procedure was straight forward and the staff very helpful organising the transfers at a very good price that despite a delay went very smoothly. They have their own website with all the details www.playamoreia.com

A fantastic location, directly next to the beach and within a short stroll to near by Sa Coma. Within seconds or minutes walk there is very good choice of places to eat all at good prices.

The area is quieter than resorts like Santa Ponsa, Magaluf etc but if you want somewhere to party and have noise 24/7 then this is not the place.

The apartments are basic but very clean and have all you need, rooms cleaned every other day, staff are very friendly and helpful, facilities are good, the pool area good with plenty of room and chairs. Be it at the back or front, you are not overlooked and have great views.

Entertainment is very good with some excellent shows and if wanted, you can participate in some and let your hair down, there is entertainment every night and also throughout the day activities are arranged.
There is a rule that the music stops at midnight, this is great if you want to get your head down or have a quite chat and drink. For those who do want to party, a few minutes away are some late bars tucked away out of earshot.
If you want, trips, excursions, car hire or a taxi, these can be arranged through the reception.

What amazed us is the friendliness at the apartments, the kids mixing with many others and nationalities and thoroughly enjoying themselves, even creating a website showing what a good time they had and all going back next year. There is plenty for the kids to do with bike, electric scooter hire locally, sub aqua trials in the pool and the usual beach activities nearby.

We found the accommodation excellent. We were on floor 7 with a sea veiw. Our room was cleaned every 2 days.We always book a one bed appartment on any hol because I find studios too small and it doesn't cost much more.

The staff were the friendliest we,ve known. One of them even dressed as a clown to entertain the children. They worked so hard but always had smiles for everyone. The bar area was lovely, part of it like small caves. Very unusual.

They had entertainment every night which was great for familys. The recepton was very nice with internet. The pool wasn't used much while we were there, most people went to the beach.

All in all its one of the best places we've been and we would definatly go back.

On arrival first impressions I thought, mmmm it looks ok.

We had to wait for our room to be cleaned even though it was 3pm, at 4pm we got the key to our room.

The reception area was clean and spacious and staff were friendly. When we got to our room it was not the sea view that we had paid for, it was a poky small room at the back of the hotel and the smell in the room hit us as we opened the door, this room had only just been cleaned, it was the smell of drains.

I went down to reception to complain and the woman who owns the hotel said that we had 'requested' a seaview room, which she said didn't guarentee the room even though we paid for it.

I mentioned the smell in the room and was told to put the plug in the sink to stop the smell. We complained to direct holidays and they didn't want to know as it was a last minute holiday.

The hotel staff were rude to us throughout our stay from then on. We spent alot of our time away from the hotel to escape them.

The location of the hotel is right on the beach front which suited me fine. Safe for children

Our first self catering holiday.

The hotel shop had very thoughtfully left a box of groceries on a sale or returns basis on the table/fridge containing basics.

The apartments were well cleaned every 2 days. There was a kettle, toaster 2 ringed cooker and a microwave. Lots of utensils, all clean and newish looking. The beds were not the most comfortable, but........that aside I can't find fault.

Pool area great and clean, entertainment stopping at midnight.

Not for the clubbers but a lovely place.

Perhaps I would like my room cleaned daily if I was pushed.

Hotel is large and spacious with internet access on a pc in the reception. Receptionists are friendly and helpful and all speak some English.

We had a second floor studio, which for us,2adults, 1 toddler and pram was a little small so asked to be moved to apartment and did this next day. Seaview rooms have great view and slight breeze off the sea and ceiling fan. You can hire fans also if necesary and we did. You have to pay 3 euros per day for tv ariel and remote if you want tv on but you only get sky news and euro sport channels...take your own tv ariel and you wont have to pay.

Our room was cleaned every few days over the fortnight and you can empty your own bins if they get full as every floor had wheelie bins. We did this because of the ants..ask the maids to spray or borrow the spray from the maids trolley and it gets rid of them. You can hire a safe for 3.75 per day.

Rooms do get very hot as we were on the top floor (7) we left the window open in the day to help cool it. There are hairdryers in the bathroom and they provide a basic welcome pack for you on arrival that you can buy or take back to the hotel shop if you dont require it. We found this very useful to have a cuppa on arrival especially with a baby in tow.

We were moved to a one bedroomed apartment which had a seperate living area and bedroom which was great and the hotel accomodated my parents who arrived on a different day on the same floor and we found them very helpful.

The lower rooms can be quite noisy at nightime as the entertainment is outside and you could be put right over the noise. It all stops between 11.30pm and midnight and the front of the hotel has great views and the sun passes onto the back around 3pm and stays on the back rooms for the rest of the day which makes them very hot and stuffy.

The pool area is nice, but old, but kids dont notice that. some nationalities were very loud round the pool but thats to be expected with large families booking in but there were plenty of sunbeds.

Not alot of shade around the pool as was a little breezy to put up your own sunshades. They have a childrens clown on between 8-9pm, he is one of the recepionists and the kiddies like that and then usually some sort of enertainment.

It wasnt all that great but easy to listen to and unoffensive....brazilian dancers, karaoke, women and men games etc. Happy hr 3times per week betweeb 8-9pm on all normal drinks. Coctails were 4euros 50 but not included in happy hour.

Bar staff friendly enough but we found that the bar was never opened until gone 10 am so not very good for a morning coffee by the pool, but they looked young and did their best although they didnt all speak very good english but wonderful in german!!
