Just got back off our holiday. This hotel is the best we've ever stayed in. Everything was first class. Couldn't believe this was only a four star.
The food was delicious with lots of choice and variety (smoked salmon and champagne if you wanted in the morning!, I did!) All staff a credit to the hotel, polite and friendly and always on hand to help. Everywhere was spotless. We could always get a lounger by the pool, no matter what time of day, and also enjoyed the beach and resort. Would recommend the boat trips and safari zoo.
Hotel had an international theme to it which we enjoyed with Germans and French also staying there. Some people just seem to be intimdated by them, can't see why?
Will definately go back and would recommend it to anyone.

Myself and family stayed in this hotel August 2002. The hotel is in an excellent location, right on the sea front, and Sa Coma is a lovely resort.
The hotel is basic, and the half board food is pretty poor. As only about 30% of the guests were half board, there wasn't much of a choice with meals, and the meals they did serve wasn't great. Most of the staff were ok, but some made it very obvious they didn't like the British and could be quite rude. The evening entertainment is very poor, not worth watching, we went out every night to other hotels to watch there's. Nights are very noisy, right oppisite the hotel is the loud Britannia Inn. When that closes, you get the dustbin men doing their rounds, many noisy mopeds going up and down the road, then after about 3 hours sleep, the cockrels start!!
On a positive note, we did enjoy our holiday at the Sa Coma Platja, but it's definately not the best hotel we've been to by far. The pool is nice and and the hotel and accomadation is clean. We wouldn't go back to this hotel again.

We, a family of 4, have just spent a week at this hotel. We booked a suite which was great for the kids as there were two sofa beds. We had a two rooms separated by double doors, a nice bathroom with two sinks, bath and shower and a large walk in room with hanging space and shelved. The food for breakfast and dinner was extremely varied and excellent to eat. The pool was large with many sunbeds. We got down at about 10.30 and never had any trouble getting 4 beds. We were, as the brochure says 400m from the sea. Its a not too smooth 400m but worth a visit. There are no hotels directly onto the beach and this was definitely near enough. Entertainment in the hotel was good. Go half board as the restaurants around are good for lunch but there isn't somewhere where you'd say "I must eat there". Overall a great holiday!

Wife and I had a great seven days at the Sa Coma Playa. Nice, large, clean room with view over pool area. Food is very good, staff are excellent and general facilities are very good. Entertainment every night keeps you a captive audience to spend money in bar but booze is quite cheap.
Pool, pool bar and food all very good.
Two weeks would be too long as surrounding area pure tack.

Absolutely fantastic! Plenty of activities for all ages by the friendly animation team and facilities. Food was great and the waiters/waitresses were so eager to keep the restaurant clean that they often cleared away before we had finished! Free A la Carte meal was lovely and there was a lounge with British newspapers and superfast Internet access. Only thing that really got on your nerves was the same Tom Jones record for "stretchy-stretchy" (the name that the animators gave to gymnastics and aerobics) that was repeated EVERY morning!

Be careful to distinguish between Sa Coma Playa and Sa Coma Platja Hotels. The first is further back from the sea and is in the middle of a garden layout but the second is right next to the beach and is not as well appointed and is in the middle of a shopping complex and bars.
