We have just returned from an excellent holiday at the Playa de Mallorca.
This was our first holiday in Spain and I would have to say that I was well pleased with the standards of cleanliness at the hotel in both the public areas and the rooms. Even the tiled floors in the corridors were polished daily! Towels were changed daily and bedding twice each week. The air con is included in the cost of your holiday and is controlled by thermostat in your room.
The buffet was excellent. Breakfast was full English, choice of 4 or5 cereals, cold meat, cheeses, toast, fruit etc etc etc!
For dinner this is a typical example: I had, soup: some salad with dressings and cold meat: a portion of excellent paella: a beef steak cooked to order at the grill with fresh onions and chips: 3 flavours of ice cream and a bit of creme caramel! This was just a small selection of what was on offer! Even our fussy five year old could eat well.
Drinks were reasonable and could be served at your table. (A large beer was 2.5 euro and soft drinks 1.80)
Location was one of the best in the resort. Dont worry if you forget anything when you go to the beach - just go back and get it - 2 mins!! There is a good choice of bars etc within 2 mins walk and "The Square" with its bars and live entertainment took about 10 - 15 mins to walk. One hint though. If your tour operator offer taxi transfers do it. We were in our room, unpacked and down for dinner before the transfer coach arrived.
From arrival to departure every member of staff was friendly and efficient. A special mention must go to the young Belgian couple who run the kids club and entertainment. They were fantastic. Showing genuine concern for the kids and remaining patient even when the parents weren't! That said, there was never any pressure to join in activities just "take it or leave it".
The entertainment ws varied and, on the whole, pretty good. Mini disco was...well a mini disco, the music man, hokey cokey etc but the kids lived it! There is entertainment in the bar most nights which was usually a man with a keyboard singing Gilbert O Sullivan that type of thing, but also live shows like, Flamenco, comedy acrobatics etc on the open air terrace. The Belgian couple who looked after the kids also ran quizzes and bingo and it was amazing how he could rattle off "two littkle ducks" in half a dozen languages!!
I want to go somewhere different next summer but can't imagine I will find a hotel of this standard or as good value for money as this. Excellent!

Stayed in hotel for a week and were delighted by the service and cleanliness.
Breakfast buffet was excellent however felt evening buffet could have had more choice and food sometimes was cold although there is a microwave you can use.
Location is fantastic, couldn't wish to be more central.
Entertainment is basic but no different to any other hotel we have stayed in.
Will be recommending this hotel to family/friends.

What a lovely clean hotel.
Situated right on the beach, you could not ask for more, whilst there was the usual buffets laid out, there was always a chef in the corner, either frying eggs for Breakfast, or frying steak, fish etc. for dinner so you knew is was freshly cooked, and there was never a queue. I must say the pork crackling is too die for.
We have spent the last 2 summer holidays here and have loved it. The entertainment is not up too much but they also have a bar on the outside of the hotel, were you can sit and watch the world pass by.
Last year they had increased the amount of sunbeds, and we always seemed to be able to get one, regardless at what time of day it was. If you like to watch T.V. then only downside would be you cannot get Sky T.V. in your room, but it didn't bother us.
