After a week on an Island Escape cruise the rooms were amazing - so much space. I agree with previous post that bed is largest I've ever seen and the pillows were lush!! The maid cleaned the room and changed towels every day. Location overlooking the sea was superb - we bought shoes so that we could easily get into the sea from the hotel pool area which was a bit hairy but well worth it. 3 of the group walked to the beach one morning and swam back to the hotel - quite exhausting they said but well worth it - the fish were amazing. We only used the hotel lounge twice and this was mainly to get into the air conditioning as the temperature was still 32 degress at 10 pm. The entertainment was very low key and would suit the older generation. We were impressed with the choice of food on our first couple of days but soon found that it was very repetitive although the standard was always excellent - lobster was superb. The location of the hotel is ideal - quiet but close to the hustle and bustle if you want it. This was our first time in an adult only hotel and we found it very quiet although the 4 young people with me soon put that right with their antics in the pool which was frowned upon by some snotty guests but "hey ho". I would certainly return to this hotel and might even upgrade next time to the premier suites which looked excellent.

rooms, views cannot be faulted but found staff not very helpful some mornings felt that we would have to set breakfast tables ourselfs we had 1 waiter who seen to us the whole fortnight.if you dont like garlic there isnt any point in going for dinner.i always travel 4 or 5 star but i would rate this more a complex than a hotel .dont feel it is worth the price i paid for holiday.

We booked this hotel on the basis that it would provide us with a relaxing week away and it did not disappoint.
Following a nightmare flight we arrived the morning after scheduled. We were greeted by curtious and attentive staff who booked us in quickly and upgraded us to a honeymoon suite at no extra cost.
The room was out of this world, with a jacuzzi with a view over the bay, seperate bathroom, the biggest bed I have ever seen and a comfortable lounge area..... then to our disbelief there was a double bed on the spacious and private balcony!
The breakfast and dinner buffets were suberb and it would be impossible not to find something that you like, the lunch menu available around the pool was very reasonable and a pleasent surprise as it was not the usual list of burgers and chips you find on most hotels.
For us the location of the hotel was perfect, we wanted a quiet break, therefore the fact that there was limited entertainment in he hotel was nice, although if you were looking for some entertainment of an evening, just a 5 min walk was 'the square' with its nightly entertainment.
This is an excellant hotel that we would recommend to all and one we would certainly look at booking again.

This hotel is lovely, very clean and very friendly.
All rooms face the sea and have fantastic views. Reception is on floor 8 (street level) with rooms from there down and pool area look nice too. There was areas with steps so you can get into the sea. We stayed in a one bedroom suite which had a fairly basic kitchen with 2 ring hob and full sized fridge. Maid service every day and clean towels. The was a safe (pay rent at reception) in the suite.
The staff were very helpful, attentive and friendly.
We did eat an evening meal and a breakfast in the hotel and found there to be plenty of choice of good food.
The location was good, just a short walk to "the square" which had supermarket, shops and places to eat.
As it was April there was no entertainment in the square and a few places were still closed, but I believe a good place in the summer season. Just a short distance further round took you to an area with more going on, but very quiet in evening at this time of year.
We loved our stay and would have absolutely no hesitation going back or in recommending it.

Our arrival was handled very quickly and politely directions to the room given, and case transported by a very friendly porter.
All staff treated the residents, with up most courtesy at all times, even two days in we got a call in the room from reception, just to enquire if everything was ok.
Rooms were cleaned every day, and towels changed. There was always a pleasant word from cleaners.
Spoilt for choice at meal times ,breakfast and e/meal,(do not go if you are on a diet)location just on the edge of Santa Ponsa but a ten minute walk took you to the centre, although you did not need to go that far, just 3min away from the hotel was a square, with a good selection of bars and shops.
They even had a kids entertainer.
Could not fault this hotel in any way ,so much so my partner booked whilst there and went back with her daughter in August, and we are booked to go again next may. Five***** !

On arriving at the hotel you are immediately treated with great care. A porter takes your bags straight to your room for you.
We were in the second block on the fourth floor in what they call a juniour suite. The view is breathtaking and each room has a whirpool bath which you can relax in whilst taking in the view.
The food was great. Some nights could be dodgy but I could always find something like pasta. The staff were efficient and very friendly. All were good with english. The hotel is located in a quiet area but the views are second to none. It takes about 10-15 mins to reach the centre. The entertainment was poor but the sqaure is just up the road and has live acts every night.
We would definitley come here again. Put it this way, you get what you pay for.

On entering the hotel it is very misleading as it looks very small. Reception is a desk with a computer terminal and when we arrived 1 person working very hard to cater with the new arrivals, Surroundings very pleasant.
What you do not realise is that the reception is infact on the 8th floor and all the rooms go down to the ground floor where there is a nice sized pool which overlooks the sea.
On enetering our room we were "gobsmacked". To the right there was a jaccuzi bath which was seperated from the bedroom by a glassless window.
The beds were two three quarter ones pushed together. The room was very big and behind doors that looked like a wardrobe was a kitchenette, with a free fridge, sink crockery, cutlery and two cooking rings.
When the curtains were pulled back the view was breathtaking overlooking the bay with the boats on the sea.
The food was excellent but the staff were very slow. Infact I would say that they were understaffed and that this was the problem.
Overall it was a fabulous week and I would certainly go back to this hotel.
