Stayed here August 2002 very nice place, no lifts though so all cases have to be carried up the stairs, staff helped on arrival, but I was on my own when checking out. Good accommodation, good food at the right price, cheapest English breakfast in the area. Can get too busy when the entertainers are on . Staff are a bit over the top at times so not for the shy, but worth a visit

We went here in July 2002. These apartments only had a low rating in the brochure so we wern't expecting much. We were VERY pleasently surprised!!!
The apartments were spotlessly clean and a good size, every one had a balcony. The staff were very helpful and even coped well with our screaming 3 year old!! There was entertainment every evening, usually live singers and tribute bands (ABBA, Elvis etc) and when there wasn't, Karen the English receptionist did quizes. The food was excellent and very good value for money, especially the BBQ on Monday evenings, all you can eat for only 6.90e.
Cala Blanca is beautiful, the beach is quite small and does get busy but you can usually find a spot.
There is a bus stop just outside the apartments which takes you to Cuitadella, where there is a market every Thurs & Fri.
There's been a few complaints on the news about how much commission is being charged on Euro travellers cheques over in Spain and surrounding Islands. Well they don't rip you off here, you can exchange cash & TC's at reception for only 2%. There is also a cash machine right outside.
I could go on forever, but I'd better stop. To round it off, this is a great place for families (no kids club though)wanting to relax. We will be booking again for next year.

Me and my family stayed in the Vista Playa 1 apartments in Cala Blanca, and we just loved it. We have been going back there for about 6 years.
Staff - Sisco and Karen were absolutely brilliant they were great with my child, my daughter got very friendly with the receptionist Karen who have now both left.
Rooms - the rooms were very well equipped. We loved the ceiling fan because it worked wonders for us. The bedrooms were the right size for us as well.
Over all we loved our stay there and will probably continue going back to that resort.
The staff that work their now are:
Waiters - Blas, Jose and Juan who are absolutely brilliant and you always have a laugh with them.
Receptionist: Yolanda she is so nice and we found it very easy to change our money to euros.
