As I got so much great info on the Flora Mar & Cala Galdana here,I thought I would add my comments too.
We could not have been happier with the accommodation. It is all spotlessly clean, the rooms (we had a one bedroom apt sleeping 4) were spacious & well set out, the staff great & the food was good. Or bed was massive.....6 feet across & very comfy too.
We were poolside which was great. The buffet breakfast cost 6 euros for adults & 3 euros for kids,& had a good selection. There is also an evening buffet, again great value & good food which we used a couple of times. the pool is lovely & clean with plenty of sunbeds to go around. No towels out at 7am here!!!
The Hotel entertainment is OK, & keeps you amused for an hour or so.We also saw a couple of things at the Cala Galdana Hotel, which is in another league altogether.
Our only niggles about the Flora Mar were that the balcony furniture is of the flimsy white cheap plastic varity which is just horrible & not sturdy enough to sit on for long, & the showers which are just TERRIBLE! They go all hot-cold-hot changing every few seconds, & are almost impossible to use.
There were a lot of German & Dutch tourists which I think is always a good thing as the Hotel standards will be high & they certainly were.
We ate out in town nearly evey night, & I can recommend Es Barranc (good fresh delicious food.Try the "Xot"),Peaso Maritimo (the best homemade Pizza & lovely fish) & sa Luna which is just by the Flora Mar.This place we did not go into until our final night, as to be honest it does not look much from the outside, but do try it. It was the best meal we had in town (the sea bass was to die for!)Great Irish coffee too, with the whiskey poured flaming into my coffee cup by the waiter. he also deserves a mention for being a great host & a mine of info on the area.
We also ate out in Cuiatadella, Calan Forcat & Fornells & ate well every time.
We were delighted with the resort & the Flora Mar & feel that we had the best apartments in the area. Would we go back, well no. We have been to Menorca twice now & feel that we have done it now. But should we ever return, it would be the Flora Mar we stayed at!

Lovely, clean & spacious hotel.
Pool a bit shallow & limited space for sunbeds although allways plenty of room when we visited (late May/early June).
Didn't use the hotel restaraunt as it looked a bit short on character & ther were plenty of good local cafes etc.
Entertainment was ok but better available most nights elswhere around the resort so you could pick & chose from the best on any night.
The staff were very helpful & friendly particularly the maids, I have never known a cleaner hotel.
