The location of this hotel is superb - views to die for. It is very clean, friendly staff and great food. We were surprised about how many people were there for the second, third or fourth time... We're going again next year!!
Our only criticism was that it needs a bar by the pool, or at least to be serviced by waiters.
Cala Galdana was bigger than we expected. Selection of bars and a good atmosphere around the square at night when the entertainment is on.

We are going to this hotel again for the fourth time in June 2002. The location is superb, the horse-shoe shaped beach is the best on the island with plenty of watersports and it is safe for children.
Hotel staff very friendly and helpful, restaurants and food - excellent.
Choice of eating places in local village and good selection of shops.
We have met many people who have been going back to the Sol Elite Gavilanes year after year....one couple last year were on their 10th visit !!
If it is a relaxing, reasonably quiet holiday you are seeking with plenty for the children..this is the place.
