Location
Wide range of choices for meals - good service. Lots of tables for 2 !!! No SHARING at all.
Good air cooling in rooms and central ceiling fan. Take an old credit card to insert in door card switch to come back to a cool room at end of evening.
Best views over car park with Mallorca on the horizon.
Plenty of free parking.
Hotel has own supermarket/papers/souvenir shop.
Noisy entertainment in hotel - doesn't start til 10:00pm or go into "Little Blackpool" nearby for clubbing.
Small hotel bar much quieter with more peaceful evening entertainment.

There is no longer any table sharing.
Rooms are a little dated, but, have fridges, air con and ceiling fans.
Food was good in general, but, if your a bacon and beans fan you will not be impressed. Bacon was tasteless beans were disgusting. The freshly carved meat or fish often ran out by about 8pm., so get there early if you want it.
For me the location was fine, being on a headland gave a nice breeze and the walk into "town" after dinner was a nice stroll of about 15 minutes. The cove is great, it's possible to dive straight of your sunbed into the sea!
The number of sunbeds and shades has to be applauded, no problem getting one any time, also, lots of choice of places as well.
Evening Entertainment was poor the first few nights so we went out and didn't bother after that.

Food was adequate but catered more for the Spanish taste ( Spanish OAP's holidays first two weeks in May ). Would certainly visit again, although not these two weeks.Because of this we were upgraded to full board with water & wine at all mealtimes. Also, half price drinks at bar.
Location was excellent (our room overlooked cove). The resort centre was only 5 mins walk away, with enough bars/restaurants for everyone. The water park was very good.
Hotel staff were very friendly and spoke good English.

My party (consisting of 4 adults) went for a fortnight (from 2-16 October 2004). We were a bit unsure as to what weather to expect that time of year (although we weren

The hotel was very clean, I would describe the rooms as basic rather than the 4* awarded by the brochure.
But they were clean and had air condition which was a great blessing during the heat of the night, the mini fridge came in handy for storing all the cool drinks etc. Towels are changed daily if you want them to be, there is a notice to say that in order to be more environmentaly friendly, please use towels several times but if this is not acceptable please leave used towels on the floor which will then be changed.
The food is really good with a wealth of things to choose from, there are special carvery evenings when the chef slices huge chunks of lamb, veal, beef etc and a large selection of salads, vegetables, chips, menorcan dishes, rice dishes, cheeses, vegetarian dishes, kiddies nuggets, fruit, jelly, cakes, ice cream, cheese and biscuits, the list is endless. Breakfasts consists of cereals, fresh fruits, bacon, sausage, fried eggs, beans, tomatoes, fried potatoes, orange juice, tea, coffee, fresh rolls and toast, cheese, hams, etc. Be warned, the milk is different to ours and I did not like it in my tea at all, also many of the British kiddies left their cereals after they had tasted it!
The hotel overlooks a lovely cove, its about a ten minute stroll into the center of Cala'n Forcat. The staff were friendly and helpful.
We preferred the entertainment that was brought in to the hotel rather than the entertainment put on by the staff, they work very hard, but we found it a little 'Butlins-ish' Also it does not normally start til about 10.15pm and with it being a family hotel, lots of youngsters were getting tetchy by this time.
The second bar was not open ( we found this odd during high season) so the only place to buy a drink was at the large family bar which as a couple did not always suit us but it was no trouble to stroll into town for something different.
Top tips- Before your departure= Ask for a room overlooking either the cove or the swimming pools, these have the best views. Forget your towels, pay 15 euros to hire one, then you can change them as often as you like and get a refund at the end of your stay.
Dislikes- As a couple, be prepared to table share, we did not like this aspect of the hotel, although the people we shared with were very nice, you may be unlucky and have to share with people that you do not.
On the whole, it is a lovely hotel, we would recommend it for families or for couples who don't mind sharing tables and who are prepared on occasion to look further afield for evening entertainment.

I wasn't too impressed with the resort itself - not particularly sophisticated, but ideal for families, great play areas. Hired a car and did the usual Fornells (lovely fishing village, although we could not get served after sitting for half an hour in the restaurant next to the car park - so walk out and went over the road). Citadella market - not particularly cheaper than elsewhere for items. Burger King - packed on market days. Cala Galdana, beautiful beach and bay. Cala Bosch, getting bigger every year - water park now - a bit of a rip off 44euros to get in and then you have to pay extra for sun bed (if you can even find one). Crisps were 1euro a packet - compared to about .65 elsewhere!!
Beach, from the hotel, walk past pool around past mini golf and there are some beautiful little ledges to sunbathe on, carry on and you come to a lovely little area where the boys loved jumping in the sea, and with their masks they could see all the fish and even an octopus!! (squid more like!). Carry on and you come to some steps which take you down to the sandy beach and you can wade out for a long while - loads of opportuntiy to look and catch crabs, play happily. Very nice, although small cove area. As I swam, I could actually touch the fish!! Weird!
Highly recommended.
Negative areas would be the walk up to the bars shops etc., full of pot holes and uneven broken pavement - please be careful in the dark. Can't think of anything else negative at all. It must have been good! Oh yes.. the supermarket in the hotel a little more expensive, although not worth the walk for a cheaper item elsewhere. And, although rooms should have been available from 12.00 midday, ours was not until 4pm. So if you arrive early, be prepared to leave your stuff in the luggage room and go and start your holiday. pack stuff you may need at the top of your case e.g. cossies and cream!!

We the best holiday possible in Almirante farragut!!!
Basicly you can call every thing world class!
You must go to this hotel NOW!!!!!!!!!!!
Staff: All of the staff are very polite and helpful even all of the maids say ola to you when pass by.
The entertainment staff are all a good crack and are
very talented ecept for the man who does the music quiz on sunday (avoid at all costs)
Food: The hotel food is good with a giant selection of
things (Mainly fruit, cheese, cold meat (yuck) Etc.
There is'nt a huge selection of hot meals just chips
and chicken etc.
Sometimes there is a chinese night which should'nt
be missed!
The food in the resort is'nt great but you would
die for the deserts!!!
Beaches:Just beside the hotel there is a georgeous little cove where you can rent pedal boats for 15 euro an hour but don't rent the sun beds!!!!! (11.50 for the day!!!)Id advise you to buy a snorkel and bring it down to the beach as there are basicly thousands of tropical fish swimming all round you!
Resort: The resort takes getting used to as it is built for tourists and is full of shops and appartaments!
If you really want a taste of old spain take the bus
to ciutadella, full of narrow winding streets (A must see!) It also has a beautiful 12th centuary cathedral and a port with a few shops and resturants
Hotel: The hotel is the best you can get! It has a mini market,kids/teenage discos,a large pool with a
seprate kiddies pool, free table tennis, mini golf,
2 bars and the hotel operates on a half board basis
(all you need!) The only downer is if theres 2 of you you will have to share a table (ug!)
The rooms are good they have:
Quite a large bathroom,a fridge,a ceiling fan and a saftey deposit box.
Others: There are loads of pass machines (one in the hotel)so you can bring your credit cards.
The bus goes from right outside the hotel.
Entertainment starts at 10.30 go at 9.45 for a good seat.
and finally for the rowdy absinthe is for sale in
the hotel/resort!
FOR THE BEST HOLIDAY EVER GO TO THIS HOTEL NOW
I PROMISE YOU YOU WILL COME BACK EVERY SINGLE YEAR!
Have a great holiday!!!!!!!
