We booked through Bath Travel (Palmair) and flew from Bournemouth which was great, easy to get to Airport as only 5 minutes from home. Our party was quite large being 9 of us. 5 Adults and 4 Children. The Las Palmeros Apartments were large and very clean, we had a 1 & 2 Bedroom apartment (self catering). The 1 bedroom apartment was upstairs and the view from the balcony was excellent (overlooking villa's and then the sea). The 2 bedroom was downstairs overlooking the nature reserve.
The swimming pool was very clean and never over crowded, with plenty of sunbeds.
The shop was well stocked and had fresh bread each morning. The maid's came to clean every 3 days changing bedding and towels.

Self catering apartments, only two storeys high, all kept spotlessly clean, I was told they were all being upgraded for 2004 season, so should be excellent. There is a restaurant and bar on site, opens about 11am until late. Has good menu and standard of food is very good. The staff in the restaurant are excellent, nothing too much trouble. The Manager, Manuel, is great, any problems he will be most helpful.
There is a really superb pool, with huge terraces, plenty of sunbeds, kept immaculate. There is also a good children's pool, on a different level, with terrace and sunbeds for parents. Also a separate attractive building where the children are supervised in play area.
It is situated at the top of the hill in S'Algar. but the local bus stops outside, and each evening a little train will take you down into the village, kids love it.
Plenty of car parking space for residents at the side of complex.
If you like walking, from the front of complex, look to left you will see a wall, look for stile, follow footpath over it, walk through bracken, through wood, and down to cove, very pretty.

If you are looking for a quiet family break, this is the place for you! Really pleasant apartments surrounding a pool, no problem with sunbeds, a pizza/grill style restaurant and supermarket on site, a short walk to other restaurants. A really clean site, and area.
Downside is that there is only a manmade beach in walking distance which is rubbish but only a short taxi ride to some really decent beaches.

Apartments are clean and fairly basic but we didn't want any more. Ceiling fan in bedroom but nothing in the living room where 2 single beds are. We take "mini fans" which are less than
