The cleanliness was good and the rooms were of a reasonable size for a family and included self-catering facilities with a fridge.
The pools were not so clean and a large number of tiles were missing, stained and in some cases loose due to a lack of basic maintenance.
The hotel food was poor for the standard 4 star rating given to the hotel and based on quantity rather than quality.
The hotel is in a quiet location on the outskirts of Son Bou overlooking fields and the coastline. The hotel Minibus service (free) and local motor train were both punctual and excellent.
The hotel staff were not particularly helpful and I would not like to have depended on them in a crisis.
Entertainment and the hotel kids club were very, very poor.
