We have just got back from this hotel 2/10/12 and it’s what it says three star, it was kept clean and tidy but if you don’t mind sleeping on lumpy beds with sheets that hardly fit and eating bland food and considering its all-inclusive you can drink anything because it taste well I don’t know what it taste like but the spirits are undrinkable, we ended up buying our own from the shops.
The entertainment is good in the day and the reps do their best for the nights, we did have a good time though despite all of this as you have to make the best of a bad situation.
I would not go back to this hotel or recommended it.

This was a Heritage hotel with a garden restaurant in the inner courtyard, this was called The Whistling Teal, not sure that it was owned by the hotel. The food was excellent and the waiting staff were very friendly.
Our room was lovely and done out in the old style. We had air conditioning but no fridge. Breakfast was served in the courtyard, usual eggs, toast, fruit juice, tea/coffee. There was a rooftop bar and restaurant but we could never see any sign of life up there. The hotel was very well located for sightseeing. The courtyard in the hotel is nice for sitting and drinking in the evening.

Hotel is very clean and in a great spot for the shops and beach. The food is rubbish! I’ve never been in a hotel where green beans, carrots, broccoli and cauli is on menu for breakfast, yukk!! Though the usual of toast bacon eggs and beans was available too.
There is no chance of sunbeds unless you get up at 7.30 and wait for them to be unchained, sunbeds on rooftop was usually available but the whiff from the drains spoilt it on the roof no wonder it never got too busy.
The staff were slow at the bar service and in the restaurant they reached over the top of you to clear away the dirty plates, at certain times you had to wait for a table all inclusive guests were not allowed where half board guests sat for meals all in all I would go half board if I ever went to this hotel again, but I don’t think I would ever return as it was most certainly the worst for food that I have ever been too and I am not a picky eater.

Stayed in Costa Calleta on an all-inclusive basis for the first time. The hotel was clean and staff always very pleasant and helpful.
The Location was good with only a very short walk to the nearest shops. Did not see much of the entertainment as we always went out at night mainly to eat!
The food was not particularly bad breakfast was good and lunch better than dinner most days problem was by the time you got to the end of the queue the food was cold so the microwave was very much appreciated. A little bit like school canteen. But probably not bad value for what we paid.Fraid my first time fully inclusive and my last!!
