These apartments are set to the north of Caleta De Fuste town, but this was not a problem to us.
There is plenty of bars, restaurants, cafes and a supermarket(across the road) within easy walking distance.
There are 2 pools in the complex with plenty of sunbeds and an OK pool-bar.
The main bar is small, but cosy. SKY sport TV was available in the bar.
The rooms were nice and clean but basic, as most self-catering apartments are.

We stated in the montecastillo part of the resort. Whilst I agree with some of the other comments, the rooms could do with a lick of paint and were a bit rough round the edges. However the rooms were large, bright and generally clean. We didn't see any ants or cockroaches and our room was cleaned with fresh towels every other day.

We stayed in the Montecastillo apartments, which had clearly seen (much) better days. The wardrobes were damp, the cast-iron bath rusting away and the base of the beds very squeaky. Within two hours of our arrival, the maid broke the lock on the front door and, despite being promised that it would be fixed immediately, we spent the rest of the week squeezing through bushes to get in and out of our patio doors. A request to change the base of one of the beds also went unanswered and so, when the lights went in the bathroom on the 4th day, we soldiered on in the dark - there seemed little point bothering to notify reception. Given the state of our apartment, it was mildly amusing to be asked for a 60 Euro deposit to cover damages on arrival - it was hard to see how we could do so much damage in our apartment!
The maid service was patchy at best, with all the children's PJs and toys being scattered around the bedroom following the sheet-change. We ate in the restaurant on the complex on the first night - the food was awful and we never bothered again. Fortunately, the centre of Caleta de Fuste is a pleasant 15 mins walk away, and there were plenty of good bars and restaurants there to choose from. We didn't bother with either of the bars on site either preferring to use those in the town, so can't comment on the entertainment.
Most annoying, perhaps, were the attempts to sell the complex as time-share. Twice, reps called at the apartment to try and persuade us to buy. I object to being hassled by these people while walking down the street, but to have them knocking at my door was just too much...
We will go back to Caleta de Fuste, and would advise anyone else to do the same - just not these apartments.

Room was very tatty and damp, furniture very worn including beds. Bathroom very smelly due to a mouldy shower curtain, very poor maid service, we were missed on two occasions and had to get our own towels from reception.

we returned to fuerteventura beach club this time for two weeks. as we were there last november we knew what was in the bungalows, this time i knew not to take my hairdryer and iron.
Everything you need is there, if there is something that you need that is not there just ask and the helpful staff will do their best to get it for you. Being self catering its good to know that you have all the things you need.
Namely a toaster, coffee maker, juicer etc, in bathroom there is a hairdryer, with all attachments.
You have an iron and ironing board. there is a self serve laundry on site. The maid came in everyday to empty bins. Most days to make beds, except Saturday and Wednesday, flight days, and of course Sundays.
The maid was lovely very cheerful always said hola! We had a problem when we first arrived this time with ants, we reported it to reception.
Next day there was a spray in our room, no problem after that. We find the location fine but then we are not ones for going to the beach. But the pool areas are lovely and clean and again the pool bar staff are really friendly, they make a nice sangria!
Can't really comment on entertainment as we didn't stay on site.
One thing we noticed this time which was better was although when we arrived we still had to pay 60 euros, on credit card, they didnt give us an itinery list to check everything. We didnt have all the inspection on the leaving day.
One thing we would have liked was on our leaving day we had a late flight, we asked if we could keep room for longer, again we were told no. They have a curtesy room below which is nice, but.
Anyway we ended up going to friends for a shower. But all in all we loved our holiday again and would definately go back.

Every thing you need in bungalow type appartment, hairdryer iron, kettle, coffe percolater, toaster.
Maids in most days, not Sunday,or Tuesday of 2nd week, quite a walk to beach or harbour, there are taxis or a noddy train, but we enjoyed a slow walk down. What is the hurry, your on holiday, had to stop for a beer on way back, good excuse!
Staff all seemed friendly and helpfull, we had no complaints, had to pay 60 euro deposit put on card if wanted or cash, you get it back at end. Get out at 10 they check for damage,if all ok you get money,no problem, wasnt very busy we went 1 Jan.
They did play games round pool, and bingo round pool one day,but not alot there so not worth it I suppose, staff vry good with the youngsters,Zanzibar, was suppose to be night club, a bar, with live entertainment some times, kareoke one night a week, and quiz night, but not a night club as we know it.
Nice staff. Secret garden is disco bar happy hour 7-9 nice there, that leads you out to the Litle Britain area for eating and drinking, seems like 3 parts the Elite, Fuerteventura beach and we were on Montecastillo.
Alot of time share places, we were not hassled, and no building work near, lots going on, but not near.
I would go back, we loved every minute of it, we wanted to relax and we did, will have to go back as did no trips, suppose to be nice places.
We were happy with pool or beach or harbour and round from that the chipmunks, sun every day apart from one cloudy day,we was lucky as it hadnt been that brill. Chilly in evenings, wore trousers or jeans all time ,yet hot in day. No cockroaches any where, we didnt see one. That well pleased me - want to go back NOW.

We stayed at Fuerteventura beach club for a week in November. It was our first time at Fueteventura and we would definately recommend it.
We stayed in a lovely one bedroomed bungalow, one of the three pools was just outside our back door! everything you needed was there from toaster, juice maker, hairdryer with all attachments even an iron and ironing board, etc.
The maids were in to clean almost every day. we were very near to the main reception which was very handy when my husband locked us out! the staff bent over backwards to help us back in. it is a lovely walk to the centre of caleta, we usually got little train back.
We like it quiet, but with bars/restaurants within walking distance. if we didnt want to walk there was Zanzibar almost across the road from us with a restaurant underneath.
They also had a good selection of food at the pool bar. We went on couple of trips Jania, beautiful beaches. Also Corralejo, which seems more livlier, but we loved Caleta de Fuste and Fuerteventura beach club. There was also plenty of little supermarkets on site and five minutes away in 'little britain' there was places to eat drink and shop.
We will definately being back to fuerteventura beach club but next time for two weeks!
