Good for families - couples avoid school holidays

Lovely hotel, fantastic amenities and all areas of high standard. It is a large hotel and the corridors to our room seemed endless at times. Sheraton adds two extra beds to rooms for families so ideal for families.

The beach is straight in front of hotel and lovely to swim in, but hotel has no sun beds on beach and you are expected to pay for a days sun bed rental on beach, so we just went for our daily dip and returned to hotels pool area.

Food was plentiful, but found it very much repetitive.

You would need to book one of the other eateries if you wanted a special meal and these were only open at weekend when we stayed.

Some noise from flight path, but could not hear in the bedrooms. Rooms were extremely large as was terrace area. Some English channels on t v. Would think of staying again but would choose time plus site off room as sun was of our balcony by 10.30 am.

Very family friendly hotel, not sure if couples would enjoy during school holidays.

We stayed at the Sheraton on a B & B basis. A beautiful and classy hotel. We upgraded our room to Premium Delux - they where superb. When booked they even asked us what type of pillows we requested on our beds (down of course! - soooo comfy). I usually stay at the Elba Sara but decided to give the Sheraton a try. Breakfast buffet was fabulous and lots to chose from - even buck fizz on tap! The location of this hotel is also fabulous. Right on the beach, practically next door to the shoping centre and within a real easy walk of the town Caleta. Loved staying there. Felt 'select' and with lots of privacy. Bathrooms in the room are brilliant - great design! Overall the staff were excellant, but not all! some not friendly or helpfull. My 5 friends and I fancied some treatments and pampering in the spa. Very impresses with the asthetics - looked gorgeous. Tried to book treatments but they only had 1 member of staff who was fully booked. When we also tried to book in with the hairdresser we were unable to do so because she was also the beauy therapist!!!!! and had no time!!!!!!!! Very short of staff down there. This is not good as they obviously lost lots of money - just from us alone - 6 ladies and unable to spend your money in the beauty rooms and hairdressers - not good hey! Don't worry though as 'fabulous hairdressers' next door in the shoping centre. I am sure that this was just a short term staff problem. Evening entertainment very low key but enjoyable. Pool area fabulous, sunbeds good with lots of fluffy towels. I would definatly visit this hotel again!

We stayed here in November 2006 as our Honeymoon. After a good flight we had a 5 min taxi transfer from the airport to the hotel. We had to wait for 20 mins for the hotel room to be made ready, and waited in reseption during this time..... the staff were mostly helpful and wanted to make our stay as relaxing and pleasant as possible.

As it was our Honeymoon we stayed in a Junior Suite, after we arrived (1pm) we headed down to the pool and explored round the complex. After a tasty lunch in the pool bar, we went back to the room and promptly blew the electrics in the suite with the whirpool bath on full blast..... a hectic hour or so saw the room being replaced with many aplogies and a bottle of Cava later.... the second room had a few teathing problems, but on the whole was superb!!

The only other issue we had was we got locked out of the room due to the key not working the 1st night or 2nd afternoon. Once again the staff were helpfull in getting it fixed, but we were hanging round in the bar (shame!) for a good 45 mins or so....

The hotel itself was spotless, with everything cleaned and changed daily.

Food was OK most of the time. El Faro - the ala-cart restaunt was superb, with the self service buffet mostly ok. There was only one night where we struggled to fine anything to enjoy......

Relaxing by the pool you were provided with fresh towels daily - the sunloungers were also of a good quality....!!

One of the best places in the hotel was the piano bar. Miguel the barman is a right laugh and helped to make our Honeymoon....!!

Classic Rep was great - best Rep we ever had!

It was a fantastic holiday, and we would have no hesitation in going back again.....enjoy!

This is new hotel only been open 5 months, standard of rooms were excellent, we upgraded to a juniour suite which meant we had a bigger room with jacuzzi, dressing room, table and chairs all within the room.

Staff were very good but I would add that there were a shortage of staff especially at the breakfast restaurant, guests were unable to find a table that was set therefore having to set it themselves, fresh orange machine was being filled by the guests, then the tables were not cleared, I would say this was only a minor problem.

The choice of foods for breakfast was excellent, but would add evening buffet was very limited on hot food, inly one choice of veg and if the potatoes were there they could be all mashed together.

The a l carte grill restaurant was nice but expensive, you are allowed 30euros each for meal and one main course can be 28 euros, the asian restaurant is lovelly limited choice again but served well.

We never saw any entertainment within hotel, they have a small cinema which is in twice week, the only bar that we saw open at night was piano bar by reception.

I don t think I would hurry back to this Island but if I did I would stay here again.

Paula who was on reception was very nice and helpful and always laughing.
