Rooms to the right of the pool don’t get sun.

Rooms in Main Hotel have more breeze and sea view. They are also closer to the main facilities
Didn't bother with the themed restaurant, the normal one was excellent.

Old Corralejo is a nice little town but it is expanding very rapidly.
The town beach is great for families, there is a pier where you can fish -hire equippment is freely available or just sit at a bar and watch the world go by.
Plenty of shops for the ladies and a tattoo parlour. Many happy memories!

The beach we were told was in site of out hotel, which was not in the least. I badly sprained my ankle 3 days into my holiday, there was not one bus to the town centre. I had to hobble on my crutches that i hired. The pathway was very uneven, so you can imagine me walking with crutches and getting stuck on the pathway down to the centre. We had to go down to the town nearly every day as the entertainment down there was fantastic in our eyes as there was including irish music which we all like. The food wasnt that bad, quite expensive when you have children to feed. I would go to the island again but at a different town.

Clean and compact resort. Plenty of restaurants and bars but we found it seemed more geared to families and quiet couples rather than "Magaluf" etc...which was no problem for us.
The best beaches are without a doubt at the Rui Oliva hotel near the dunes - we spent lots of time there - the beaches nearer the resort weren't as good and a bit rocky near the water with no waves! The beach at the dunes was wild!!
I would call this a very relaxing holiday "chilled" even which was just what it said on the tin! We would recommed a trip around the resort to get your bearings early doors on the train - only 1 euro - well worth it - we waited until the last day! doh!

There is a small market which we visited but there were no bargains as such.
There were a few activities mainly for small children, hair plaiting and a bungee type ride. There are plenty of shops but when we were there some of the shops sold videos with the covers on display which would make your stomach churn !! Not suitable for kids to be looking at !! The shops seemed to be selling guns in glass counters at the till points !!
The beach was beautiful to look at white sands and clear seas but when we were there (in July) it was very windy
and we got sand stuck to our suncream !!
Also be aware if you walk along the beach towards the sand dunes there are nudists that use the beach.

The beach was large and had some cafe's situated near the top end. One of the cafe's we went too, did well nice Chicken salad rolls, it was the first one on the beach as you are walking down from the Duna Park Hotel.
We stayed half board at our Hotel but we ate out one night at the Mexican restaurant about a 10 min walk away (commercial centre) Cant remember the name of it now, Bannana something or other. Plenty of bars, shops and restaurants to choose from. Visit the sand dunes which are about a 5 min ride in a taxi, they are worth it. Feels like you are in the desert in the middle of nowhere as there is only one little shop/supermarket, the sand dunes and another beach. We spent the day on the dunes and the beach.

I have been to all of the popular Canary islands and Fuerteventura is the best by far.
The resort is superb, restaurants are even better (go to El Torro, and ask for porterhouse stake)
Ideal place for families and couples and the beaches are to die for.
When I return to Corralejo I am heading for the Punta Elena Apartments - Really nice and quiet.
I am going to Caleta de Fuste in April 2005 to sample its hospitality.

The resort of Correlejo is good, there are plenty of shops and restaurants to suit all tastes and budget.
The only beach we went to was quite stony, but we preferred the pool anyway.
Will definitely go back there in another couple of years.
