I booked this hotel because it was family friendly, went with my daughter and 2 grandchildren age 3 and 5 years old.
There was nothing for children, only entertainment was mini disco at 9 PM, no adult entertainment at all. This we could cope with, but the worse was the food. No kids corner so nothing for the kids to eat, you could have burger and chips at 10.30 am which we were giving them because there would be anything for them lunch time or evening meal. For adults it was constantly fish every meal. If there were restaurants around area would would have gone out to eat, but there is nothing around the area. We just kept going to shop to get ready cooked food for the boys, and used restaurant microwave. We are plain eaters but nothing available. Poor hotel.

Rooms were basic. One English channel on the TV, some tiles on the floor were moving and loose and in need of repair. No hot water out of small hand basin. The service was poor took a while to clean and prepare tables for other people to eat food at. The hot counter was always cold maybe that's why they had a microwave on the counter to heat you're food. Food was basic and same fish or some kind of meat which was probably over cooked. To class this hotel as 4 star, I have stayed in better 3 star with more to do and more entertainment programmed.
I wouldn't personally recommend this hotel!

Just returned from a week at the Drago Park.
Good points: excellent pool area, good food, very clean and spacious rooms, daily maid service, polite and friendly staff.
Bad points: can't really fault the hotel overall, entertainment was not good just two young lads trying to entertain you! VERY, VERY, VERY weak lager and spirits I ended up paying just to have a decent drink.
Resort: VERY quiet nothing at all to do - was just like a ghost town !! Would not return.

We stayed for a week all inclusive and ate in the hotel for at least one meal every day. We found the breakfasts werent the best but there were eggs and bacon and nice bread so found something. Lunch was a great salad and breads burgers chips etc and all self service we always enjoyed this. There was a mixture of fast food type meals and yummy spanish style salads YUM. the evening meals had the same salads and vegs etc each night but had a main that was different. IR one night was octopus and another was lamb etc. it was fantastic..!! but bear in mind you can also have soups, chips, burgers, croquettes, pastas, fish etc we found there was a great amount and you could go up when you liked. The drinks were fine also and there was a cocktail of the day on AI, the bar staff were friendly and could speak english. The hotel itself was large friendly clean and new. I enjoyed the pool and felt it was a great area. Unfortuntly it is a bit far away from the beach and up a hill but we enjoyed the walk in the heat. A market is weekly a stone throw away and entertinment is in german so we tended to wander out. nice hotel for a relaxing wek and the nicest beach we have ever seen. Things spread out in costa calma though but worht a wander there are many bars are rewstaurants just no strip like some resorts.

This is at first glance a beautiful hotel, very clean, spacious rooms, excellent maid service, clean bedding and towels daily and not to far from the beach.
The hotel grounds and pool area are very clean and easy on the eye.
Now the downside, we were told the hotel had a heated pool, not the case and far to cold to swim in, therefore had to go off site every day, missing out on any all inclusive food and drink, which leads to the other downside and you have to be aware that last nights food was regularly served up the following day, with my wife having suffered from a very upset stomach for two days of the holiday, ever had sprouts for breakfast? You will in this hotel if any left from previous evening,(had to be seen to be believed). Snacks at the pool bar were the same every day, salad, hamburgers, chips and squid rings urghhh!!!!. There is no food available after 20.30 and nowhere to buy any from, on some evenings, we again went out for a pizza for supper at a nice little bar down the road, where incidentally we often went for lunch, this was definitely a holiday where going all-inclusive was definitely a very bad idea.
Service in the bar was on the whole good and the animation team try hard. Take note this hotel mainly caters for Germans and staff speak little or no English and entertainment is also mainly aimed at Germans and yes, we do have a different sense of humour.
I would definitely return to Fuerteventura, but never to this hotel.

This is quite possibly the worst hotel we have ever stayed in.
The food was totally inedible. We had tinned fruit and vegetables, chips with everything, luke warm sloppy stews. There was never any tables laid, we had to hunt for crockery and cutlery all the time.
The staff were rude and unprofessional and catering for the German clientele. We were the only British people in the hotel. Whilst we met some lovely German families, they were as dismayed as we were about the standard of this hotel.
The entertainment was non existent and we had 2 quizzes in German all week and a fashion show!
The health and safety element left a lot to be desired. one guest slipped on the highly polished tiles on the stairs seriously hurting himself, as there were no grips or handrails in parts.
This hotel is so spread out, that you could almost qualify as an Olympic athlete after a week and is totally unsuitable for anyone with walking difficulties.
I could write indefinitely about this dreadful hotel. On complaining to Sun Star Leisure, this agent simply does not want to know. We are still arguing at the time of writing. Please be wary of using this company because if you do have a problem, they simply do not respond to you!

The hotel was out of the way (which we wanted). It was spotlessly clean, the food was better than the usual
Spanish fare, with plenty of choice. Most of the hotel Staff were very obliging and if you asked for something they got it for you. The hotel was very quite in the evenings although there is a nightclub (which was too dark)and a nice quite bar. My son loved it because during the day they played football in a very safe area and water polo, this had no bad effect on people sunbathing and relaxing.
The room was lovely and each room does have a pool view. We took this hotel as a last resort because we left it very late to book during the school holidays but what a stroke of luck as it was lovely. The hotel had beautiful garden. Although most of the guest were German everyone seemed to get on fine. I put on about half a stone in weight!
