This hotel may have changed hands as there is no Riu in the title any more. Most of the guests were on "all inclusive ", only a small proportion were half board. The main course was disappointing as meats were somewhat restricted in type, pork being the main choice. Sometimes the "just in time principle" was evident. Quality was OK. Choice of wine was small. On half board we had to sign notes as cash was not permitted which was a bit of a bind for us as well as for the staff.
To criticise the entertainment would be harsh as they were catering for Germans.

I stayed in hotel costa calma beach in Ferteventura it was in the most lovley location. The staff were really great especially the waiter manuel. The food was great it was nice to have lots of different varietys. the most glorious place ive ever been to I didn't want to leave. I loved the pool with the rock and the waterfall that was nice and i liked the bar in the middle of the pool that was great.Overall 100 out of 100!!
