We have stayed in this hotel many times and will continue to go back there. It has been out of commission for a while as they have been some concrete problems when it was constructed which came to light in 2004 I believe.
However it has been refurbished and has reached a high standard and hopes to become a Melia hotel.
I find it difficult to fault the hotel as everything is of a high standard. All food was of very good quality except perhaps the bacon which is of the streaky variety and the fruit juice at breakfast which was a bit variable. However there was so much choice I am nit picking a bit.
The entertainment is fine, you cannot expect the stars of the entertainment world to be playing there so you have to adjust your expectations accordingly.

We booked the hotel because of its position literally on the northern end of the 30km beach of Barca, 3km to the south of Costa Calma and on its own.
Our room was large and clean as was the rest of the hotel. The food was excellent with plenty of choice. The dining area was spotless.
Around the pool was a delight for us as there was a separate pool nearby for children/family use.It was so relaxing and peaceful with sun terraces lost among the green borders of this wonderful oasis.
There were organised activities for all ages if you wanted to get involved (wind/kitesurfing, diving/snorkelling, yoga, dance, childrens club,t o mention a few). Computers with internet connection were also available.

This hotel is sold as a four star. it most certaintly is not. It was dirty and the staff were arrogant and unhelpful. My wife was assaulted by some roudy youths at this hotel and we tried to get our money out of |Thomsons and could not. Be warned and stay away. the power went down on three separate occasions and you could not get to the food tables as it was all push and shove. What aterrible experience!!!
