Just arrived back from a really laid back holiday - no bingo, no karaoke,no burgers, no yobs, no loud music - GREAT. This is a very large complex lots of walking to do between main dining areas/bars/reception and your room. This is a truly international hotel with international client

Stayed for one week low season great holiday

Hotel is 1 hour from airport in a quiet location outside Jandia

Hhotel and grounds very neat and tidy on a cliff above a good beach numberous pools

Food vaiied but lunch times best be early 1 o clock as food a bit dated by 3 o clock. Evening meals have show cooking, filet of beef, excellent srews fish meals

Entertainment during the day poor darts pistol shooting etc not advertised but constant volley ball. Nighttime entertainment the odd and I mean odd duo group, disco for us oldies everyone just mixed in to have a good time

staff friendly and attentive

For a relaxing holiday with plenty of quality food and drink would recommend to anyone, some people go year after year

Had a really, really fantastic stay at this hotel. It is a little bit out of the way but Jandia is only a short taxi ride away. Most of the time though you will be reluctant to drag yourself away from the pools.

Feel a little bit harsh only giving the Hotel Staff 3 out of 5. The reception staff were really helpful and friendly as were the majority of the bar staff. However, we had a nightmare getting a table in the restaurant most days. Breakfast time could be a bit manic and a couple of times I had to clear a table because we had been waiting around for ages. At times when you walked into the dining area the staff would pretend they hadn't seen you. However, there weren't a lot of them for the amount of people.

The hotel is clean and the pool area tidied and cleaned every evening. We did have a problem with ants in our room (having a child who dropped chocolate under the bed didn't help). However, we reported it to reception on our way to breakfast and by the time we got back someone had been in and sprayed.

The pools are lovely. We found the one with the glass roof to be our favourite. Lazing in the sun and only actually moving to cool off in the pool or get a Sangria from the swim up bar. The girls who ran the bar there were absolutely brilliant escpecially with the little one. Really friendly and always smiling.

There was about half Brits and half Germans when we visited and, although there are signs saying towels will be removed from sunbeds, it was wise to get to the pool early to get a bed. We even took it in turns the last week to get up and go put our towels out.

The beach was only a short walk away. There are quite a lot of steps though so getting back was less fun. When you go take some apple or biscuits as there are little chipmunks that live in the wall directly below the hotel and they will take the food direct from you. Really comical and cute.

The entertainment was ok. Some really good shows and some not so good. The main room for the entertainments is very small and can get really busy. Again, it was worth going early if you wanted a seat. Most of the songs for the mini disco were foreign but you will still find yourself singing these for weeks after!!!

We hired a car for 4 days and went around the island. The white sand dunes are definitely worth a visit. Beautiful. We also went off the beaten track and up into the hills. Some of the roads can be quite scarey but the views once you are up there are amazing.

The food was really nice and even my son, who is a fussy eater, didn't starve. We ate out a few nights and found a lovely Italian in Jandia (it has windmills on the sign and red and white table cloths). The garlic prawns were to die for! The staff were really, really friendly too.

All in all a FANTASTIC holiday and BRILLIANT hotel. I would definately recommend and would go back there again.
