We had a thoroughly enjoyable week at this hotel. The room was fine although like all areas would benefit from a fresh lick of paint and a re-furb. The food is generally good with plenty of choice at lunch and dinner. We certainly never went hungry. We thought that the fish dishes were especially good. Salads were freshly prepared but fairly basic. There was always a pasta dish of some description. The hot breakfast food was not to our liking, we preferred the fresh cakes and pastries.
The pool area is clean and well maintained although the sunbeds were uncomfortable and some were broken. The bar drinks and service were very good. Alcoholic drinks, apart from maybe the beer, were not too watered down as you expect on all inclusive, the wine was especially good for this standard of holiday.
We did make use of the free bus to the beach although the walk was all flat and only about 20 mins. This holiday represented good value for money. It is not the highest of standards however for the price that we paid we would recommend it.

After a two week stay in Maspalomas Oasis Club, I can truthfully say I enjoyed every minute of the holiday.
The bar is open 11-11, and all the noise from the night's entertainment (Other than Wednesday & Sunday because there is no night entertainment) has ended by 12. There are a variety of things to do every day, apart from Sunday's (there is no entertainment all day) varying from, boles, sloelbak, table football competitions and many more. In the night there are shows & karaoke. Every night (apart from Sundays) there is a kids mini disco.
The apartments themselves are very clean; the cleaner changes the towels & the bed linen at least 3 times a week. Staff in general very good and polite.
The food within the restaurant is very good. Every other day there is a roast meat in gravy, fish & pasta most days, a good variety for kids; chips, pizza. Snacks are available 11-12, they are very nice, then 4-5 cake or biscuits are available.
So generally a good place well worth the money. Would recommend to my friends!

Maspalomas Oasis Club
There was a lot of pluses for the price we paid for this week all in.
First impressions of Gran Canaria were very positive, the place is green very clean and palm tresses everywhere. Weather, it was great, between 25 to 30 degrees, but does cool down at night. The last two days were on the cloudy side, but still warm
Hotel was very clean and i thought the food was great for the price, a wide choice, do expect stuff to be reborn as another dish in the evening etc. The deserts were the only bad point, but all in all a ok. To many Brits expect the Ritz, they really moaned and groaned about the food. If you want the best stay at the Ritz or Hilton and pay 100 to 200 hundred pound a night. We booked this holiday last minute and told it was 3star plus.
When we arrived the food hall was closed and we were given a plate with 2 rolls ham and cheese for both of us.
The resort looked very nice the rooms do not have air conditioning and it does get hot. The food was poor small hot dog sausage in a italian sauce, rubber fried eggs. Dinner was ok but tea time was poor food stops at 9pm and no shop close by you have to walk about 5 mins to small market. Only 1 bar it is next to the pool and the 1 bar staff helps out at meal times so you will wait for a drink but it is only about 5 mins a time and the drink is not very good.
The staff only speak a little Rnglish but you do get by they are always smiling and happy to help when they understand you.
