very clean and well maintained. charming settting with lots of bar/bistros, cafes and restraunts. no entertainment at night although there are lots of visitors during the day. It is not raelly suitable for a family holiday as there is no entertainment for children. beach is not to big and is kept clean. the water is clean and partitioned off for swimmers, snorkelers etc.
we will be going back as soon as possible

Puerto Mogan is really nice. Still being developed. Nice beach, harbour & marina. Plenty of fishing and dolphin & whale watching trips. Ferry boat service to Puerto Rico. Go on the yellow submarine in the harbour. Well worth it - see sunken ship wrecks and loads of fish. Lots of good cafes and bars around the harbour & marina. Try the Irish bar in the marina for best value. Puerto Mogan is best suited to couples. If you have a bunch of young kids / teens, then choose Puerto Rico - more for them to do there. We will return to Puerto Mogan. Really enjoyed this romantic picturesque valley.

Cleanliness - lovely little quiet resort which is kept spotlessly clean - shame about the selfish dog owners leaving the dog mess behind.
Entertainment - not much going on which suited us but don't go if you're looking for nightlife.
Beach - we didn't go to the beach but it was always busy and looked nice and clean.
Definitely go back here - it's so unspoiled.

Peurto Mogan, pretty harbour area with pleasant cafe/bars, shuts down in evenings, if you want quiet people watching and drinking coffee then this is the place as boats bring tourists in from puert rico which is a dump

Mogan is not for teenagers or people looking for nightlife. Definitely a destination for people who enjoy peace & quiet. It's a 'million miles' away from the other resorts on Gran Canaria.

The resort looked very clean and tidy. It was very preety and we can understand why it is called the Venice of the Canaries.
Can't really comment on resort entertainment - there was a mrket on Friday - usual items that you see at any market anywhere in the world. There were enough restaurants to eat in a different one every night for about a month, so plenty of choices.
The beach was spacious and clean, however no showers.
We would visit Peurto Mogan again however it is growing so don't know what it will be like in 3 or 4 years time?

Mogan is very small but very pretty, didn't go into Mogan at night as there was no need to leave hotel, so not sure about evening entertainment, the beach was small but not overcrowded.
