Have just returned from the Riu Papayas. From the minute we arrived we were made to feel special. We got a lovely welcome from the reception staff. Our cases were taken to our room at once and the receptionist came up to show us the room and where everything was.
I felt when I saw the room that I had stayed in nicer ones, but that was just first glance. We have never had so much space for clothes. I counted 16 drawers and 24 hangers in the large wardrobe!
There was a fridge with drinks, a television with Sky News, BBC World news and Eurosport. The air con. could be controlled by ourselves. there was a large balcony which had a pullout clothes line.
The bathroom was very adequate. The whole place was absolutely spotless. We were half board and I must say that the food selection at every meal was terrific. We were allocated a table which was ours for the 2 weeks we were there.
The dining room staff were wonderful and showed that they really wanted you to have a good holiay. Most of the guests were German and if you want a hotel where you can talk English all the time this one is not for you. I liked it because on holiday I sometimes cannot be bothered listening to folk rabbiting on!
The pool area was nice with loads of sunbeds and mattresses. I never saw anyone booking beds with towels, so now think it is the British who are the culprits!A wonderful hotelfor a a real chillout.
