You could not fault the Roque Noblo for location, smack bang next to the Yumbo, and only about 10 mins from the beach. From our balcony on the 4th floor, you could see the bungee ball in the Yumbo and over to the sea.
I was concerned about it being noisy at night, due to one of the nightclubs backing onto our hotel garden, but once the balcony doors were closed, you could hardly hear a thing. Not sure if i would recommend to families though as the clubs do go on till gone 6am and beyond and once the balcony doors are open again, you can hear the music, but I would recommend for groups who are into nights out and partying and do not want far to walk back.
The maid came 4 times, and although towels only got change twice, she did tidy up and do the pots.
The pool area is nothing special, just a normal rectangular pool with sunloungers on one side, although it is quite big and deep.
The hotel staff were really friendly and say "hola" as you pass by.

The hotel was absolutely perfect for our holiday. The staff were very friendly, and helpful... One even found me locked out, and came to the rescue with a spare key.
The pool is adequate enough to plunge in and cool off during the hot days, and very quiet usually during the week, with ample sun longers to go around.
The place comes alive at night in surrounding pubs and clubs, and for this reason I would not recommend to families.
Ideal for younger groups who like to socialise and party the night away - I'll be going back!

Roque Nublo apartments are privately owned Duplexes. We rented one and had a fantastic time. As they are private they are mainly used at weekends which means that you have the pool virtually to yourself all week. The duplex was clean and well equipped with great views of the beach and harbour.
If you want a family holiday where you can escape the noise of Puerto Rico these apartments are perfect. They are a good uphill walk from the centre but we just walked down and got a taxi back up for a couple of euros.
We have booked again for this year.
