We ate several times in the Boulevard and found the Steak House very nice and very reasonable priced. Did rate the drinks in the Aguamarina (and we were paying for them) We could have upgraded to All Inclusive but min period that they offer is 3 days. Felt in height of summer hotel could become over crowded and with a small child like we had you may find it hard to keep an eye on them. The Aguamarina was like this in the evening and childern could easily be lost as outer doors were kept open and one led to main road.
Overall though I would revisit the Hotel, staff were helpful and they were dealing with the cockroach problem.

The daytime activities were endless always something to do or some sort of competition going on for kids its just great with the football, mini-golf, creche, playgrounds, pools etc.
We stayed self catering but paid to eat the all inclusive buffets as the food was really nice and a wide variety for all taste the all inclusive restuarants are kept clean and food is constantly topped up and renewed. Because we have seen the food for all inclusive guests we have booked to go back all inclusive which we wouldnt normally do as worry about quality of food.
Entertainment was good and reps really friendly and enthusiatic in the entertainment team, first choice resort reps, however were not as friendly and quite unhelpful.
Los Zocos makes for a great and action packed holiday for all ages

First Apartment was dark, dingy, dirty, smelly, grotty, grimy - awful just awful.
Second apartment (block 3 - after a 4 night wait) better but still smelly.
Didn't eat here - it looked dreadful. Didn't even feel confident cooking here for hygiene reasons.
Entertainment - didn't bother with it - bar absolutely awful - any bit we did see all I can is "Butlins".
Reception staff rude - bar staff in need of some language tuition. Litter all over the place.
Kids Club - who do these girls think they are - activities were changed - "wet and wacky" became a BIRTHDAY PARTY for some kid my children didn't even know - "farewell bash" became an unsupervised "mini disco". Totally misrepresented by Falcon. The only thing my children happened to enjoy was the Soccer School but even the poor guys running it were having a hard time - they were told during the week that one would be moving to Costa del Sol on Friday and still didn't which one it was to be on the Wednesday.
This has been the worst holiday I have ever experienced and I felt so sorry for my 3, 5 and 7 year old children - this should have been their week! I have written to Falcon demanding a full explanation - no doubt there will be some fob off story.

The food was fantastic, always hot and plenty of choice at the main restaurant, and for lunch the pool side snack bar was great for hot dogs, but we also visited the restaurant near the shop which had a more varied selection for lunch time.
The location was ideal for the beach about a five minute walk, and seemrd to be central for most trips.
Hotel staff were always friendly and always made time for the kids.
There was always poolside activities if you wanted them and kids club was fab, the animation team were really a credit to the hotel.
If I were to return to Lanzarote I would only consider staying at Los Zocos.
