The hotel is quite pleasant and the rooms are big although if you are the lucky one to be in the main building the noise from the evening entertaiment last untill midnight.
The food is plentful and ok if you stay one week otherwise is repetitive.
Hotel staff are kind specially the barmen.
Evening entertaiment is quite good.

Arrived late after 4 hour flight delay, told dining facilities were closed but snacks available at the bar;(hardly edible).

Hotel was very clean and rooms were large with plesant patio, view however wes spoiled by the desalination plant only 1Km or so away !!!!.

Compared to other 4 star allinclusive hotels we have been to I would have to say that the food was average with lunch drifting towards poor.

With a few exceptions the bar staff were noticably sullen and in the hotel paper shop one woman was downright rude.

The aim of the holiday was to relax and unwind. Everyone from the holiday booking office to the airports couldn't have been more helpful, especially as husband was in a wheelchair.

Hotel and rooms were bright, large and clean. We where on the 5th floor with views across the pool and looking out to sea so didn't see the dreaded cement factory a mile down the road (though saw QM2 sail into Arricife!).

A mixture of Brits, Germans and Spanish people were staying at the hotel. The staff were very helpful and were delighted if you tried to say a few things in Spanish - even if it was only hello, please and thankyou, though most of them seem to be tri-lingual.

Though there are notices about saving sunbeds towels do appear early morning so be prepared! Though the hotel does loan out towels it might be worth having a few of your own if you want to go to the beach.

Two pools - one unheated which was freezing this time of year and a heated one which still felt cold when you got in! Though on a hot day it was very refreshing. The beach over a small road was miniscule - not much sand and quite a few rocks. However my daughter (12yrs) loved it and we were often the only people down there. Sea clear but cold - footwear for swimming might be useful especially as there are quite a few rocks near the water's edge.

The hotel is about 1/2 hrs walk out of the main area of Costa Teguise which suited us but we did walk in a few times and got a taxi back (about 3euros) Mostly small bars, shops and restaurants. Don't know what it is like at night as we spent the evenings in the hotel were entertainment was provided. (We had Posh & Becks and the BeeGees and on the first night - sadly only lookalikes)

Hotel is "all inclusive" - food plentiful, lots of choice but after a week it began to feel repetitive. I think we might have gone out for the odd meal if we were there for a fortnight!

A superior 4 star hotel

We visited in Jan 2004. We understood from the staff it had only just become an all inclusive hotel!!

Cleanliness was first class, pool areas cleaned every evening all public areas, bars, restaurant, foyers always immaculate.

Food, excellent variety I like to eat most things but my wife can be quite fussy but she was very impressed by the choice available. Our son who is 6 was catered for (plenty of chips burgers, chicken, pizza)

The hotel is situated a little way out of the town but this wasn't a problem for us, as we were just there to wind down after a busy Xmas, but if you like to get out and about this may be a problem for you!!

Hotel staff, what can I say!! They were absolutely fantastic in particular the waiters. When my son and his friend decided that one evening they would like to eat on their own, bearing in mind there ages, (6& 9) we came in to find the head waiter at their table making them chocolate milkshake, he then sat us on the other side of the restaurant and told us how well behaved they had been!! This was just one of many of the small things that the staff did to make for a wonderful stay.

The entertainment was very good lots of professional acts in the evenings and loads of organized activities in the day, kids club wasn't great but it was Jan (lack of kids)

The pools were not heated one was acclimatized the other was cold it wasn't a problem for us but my son didn't think much to it !!

Would definitely recommend this hotel just one thing to be aware of, you will put on weight. I worked out it was possible to eat nonstop from 7.30am to 10.30pm
