Having stayed in these apartments prior to them being owned by the Natura Palace Hotel I had an idea what they would be like. However, most of the apartments have now been fully refurbished to a very good standard. Although the apartments achieve only a "3-Key" rating(?), guests enjoy the full facilities of the 4* hotel. The gardens have matured and are very colourful and diverse. It is only a two minute walk from the furthest apartment to the hotel foyer. The cleaners came in every single day and we stayed from 18 Dec to 1 Jan. They were polite and thorough.
The food cannot be faulted (although I did hear some people moan about too much choice!!!) and although like most HB/AI it was buffet style menu, it was fantastic. Make no mistake this was 4* food, which included a champagne breakfast if you wanted it. We also experienced two Gala dinners, Xmas and New Years Day, which were a five course waiter service dinner with free wine/champagne and of a very high standard.
The location of the hotel itself is on the sea front by the port's volcano(dormant!!), away from the centre of the resort but only a 20 minute walk along the promenade.
We found all the hotel staff friendly and happy to accommodate most reasonable requests. Although we didn't rate the entertainment that highly we did enjoy the various entertainers in the Piano Bar and the other entertainment was fairly well attended. There weren't that many children staying at the hotel during our stay but they seemed to be well catered for. I look forward to returning to the Natura Gardens Apartments
