The apartments themselves are very spacious and well equiped. Our only issue was that the towels were changed twice a week, which is not enough, and the sheets were only changed once in a fortnight.
The pool area was well kept and we found we could always get sunbeds. The only problem we had was that a group of nine 18-30 lads were staying there in our first week and when they were by the pool, they kept jumping in and being really loud. I think this may get worse as the Club 18-30 becomes established, but other than that these apartments are a great base for a holiday in Puerto Del Carmen.

What can I say about this place!!

To start Im 28 and love my beer my girlfriend is 25 and we like fun pubs and clubs I was not aware of the 18-30 reps in the hotel and god they are a pain!!

The day would start ok quiet but say from 11am the hole hotel would be took over by the clan who made loads of noise slamming doors pool area took over bar took over and then at about 3-5 am EVERY NIGHT they woke the hole hotel up. Sick round the pool and up the walk ways condoms in the flower beds. Im no angel but this place was the pits and ill never ever go there again. Great location though!!

Having been to PDC several times over the last 8 years we were looking for somewhere new to stay as our usual apartments - La Penita had significantly put their prices up even to returning guests. The Jable are regularly recommended on various Lanza websites and having researched well we decided to give them a go.

We couldn't have been happier, all our emails were answered promptly and we got a great price for a week, we requested a 1st floor apartment die to security and the dreaded C word ! They were happy to oblige and due to requesting 1st floor it meant we were across the road in a seperate block from the main apartments and the pool. We had a great sea view which was an added bonus.

Our apartment was absolutely spotless on arrival and very well equipped with a coffee maker, kettle, hairdryer!!! and useful items like dishcloth, T-Towel and even w-up-liq......sounds silly but these are items you normally have to take or fork out for and leave behind. Bathroom was large and again well equipped with great lighting and a decent shower water pressure wise. Our seperate bedroom had plenty of storage in the form of drawers and a large wardrobe....the lighting could have been improved in here but no great fault.

Large balcony, TV (you rent the remote from reception) all in all a truly large apartment. Good security lighting at night throughout the complex and up to your main door of the apartment. Plus security guards patrolling at night.

Across the road at the main complex was the pool and pool bar, the guy operating this was a little surly and had a job to smile....ever but he was fairly efficient and the food was pretty good if not a little expensive. Plus it closed on the dot at 5pm every day and a couple of days it didn't open at all which was disappointing. I think the pool area is where the Jable lets itself down, the area is pretty compact and because the pool is an odd kidney shaped affair an awful lot of sunbed space is wasted, bearing in mind this was April (not school hols) we struggled a couple of days to get a lounger at various times of the day. I'd hate to see the place in the height of the season ! Thankfully we're beach people so not a great problem for us on a daily basis.....but beware the lack of space around the pool if you don't like the beach.

Location wise it was perfect, down a small bank brought us out across from the main beach and a couple of 100 yds away was my favourite bar Ruta 66. It was very walkable into the old town from the Jable too, so a good mid way choice location wise....the casino area was a good hike but nothing that took more than 20 mins.

Truly more than happy to stay in here in the future, we'll be booking up again for spring 2009 without doubt and I fear the La Penita apartments have lost us forever now as they offer nothing more or less than the Jable Bermudas.....except better prices ;-)

My best mate and I recently stayed at these apartments.

It was our first holiday away without any parents. we arrived in PDC around 8pm and were shown straight to our apartment.

Like you do we had a look round it fairly basic but clean. we then discovered a cockroach in one of the cupboards being 2 girls we were a little apprehensive to have seen this. So after a tiring and long day of travelling we decided to go to bed only to find a cockroach in one of the beds! We were mortified and would not sleep there just the thought of the crawling over you during the night so we stayed up as long as possible then eventually fell asleep on the sofa.

Next day we decided to see if we could be moved rooms to an upstairs apartment we figured the damp and dark of where we were, which was very near the pool could have attracted the cockroaches to our room. Went to see the man in reception who at first was not very helpful so with no luck of getting moved we went back to our apartment. Then later reception rang and said they had a top floor apartment avaiable so we re-packed and went to our new room, where we didnt see another cockroach, and the room was much better furnished and in better condition than the first one.

We very happy to have got moved, and I couldnt have faulted the apartments in any other way.

I would definitely stay here again just not near the pool!
