Location
The beach was in walking distance too, it was lovely, safe to swim in. My sons Jay (17) Adam (14) found there was loads to do, very lively at night lot of bars and eateries.
There was entertainment on at hotel which was very good we would definately return to this hotel a good time had by all.

There are 3 nice cats which are always around and they seem to be the best fed strays I have ever seen, they will also follow you into your apartment with little encouragement.
We found the bar a bit pricey a large lager which was not a pint was approx 3 Euros, a pint overlooking the sea at a bar called THE PLACE was only 2 Euros with a fab sea view for free. (Both also serve strongbow)
If you hire a car, parking is no problem
Plenty of sunbeds for all.
Reception open from 8am until 9pm with a security guard at other times.
The location is only a 5 min stroll to the main road with bars, restaurants & small beaches (Which do not have beds to rent) and a 10 to 15 min stroll takes you to the main nightlife & larger beach complete with beds to rent.
One thing I nearly forgot to tell you is at 4.30pm the bar holds happy hour which you can have draught beers & a selection of about 5 or 6 local shorts 2 for the price of 1 you cannot miss this because the barman puts on some loud music & blows a horn to let everybody know, the music was loud for approx 10 to 15 mins then faded (no problem)
Fab apartments we don

The staff were nice, the bloke behind the bar was funny and spoke good English.

The Montana Club was a ray of sunshine, they had hot water, the apartments were modern with excellent self catering facilities and very clean.
We stayed in a ground floor room directly opposite the pool, they were spacious and well maintained.
The staff were excellent and always willing to help.
We only stayed here for 3 nights but would definately recommend The Montana Club.
(only negative comment is that the pool does have alot of chemicals used in it - so would recommend some goggles!)

staff very friendly and elkin behind the bar really makes the happy hour - keep blowing that trumpet boy !!
the entertainment needs changing though the duo singers arenales or something were there the 1st time around and she fancies herself too much - get rid and get fresh entertainment.
a nice 5 min walk to sea front past a pizzeria and a bar - very pleasant
weather in august though 47 degrees - too hot phew the rooms need air conditioning. the things that were free though on our first trip are now being charged for eg. umbrella at the pool, mattresses for the sun loungers - come on guys.
lovely place though and would recommend a vist to el rancho texas watch out for those low flying eagles though.

Our accommodation was marred by a huge tree outside our apartment which cut off any view for us. The settee was extremely uncomfortable, godness knows how it felt for children to sleep on.
The food in the hotel was excellent but they did not have a lot of takers. There were only 15 people or so on half board, the others had to pay 19 euros each for an evening meal, needless to say people ate out much cheaper. The food itself was excellent.
The entertainment was not great but there were a few around the bar.
The swimming pool was kept very clean. We enjoyed ourselves in Lanzarote, but mainly because we hired a car and got out and about.
