Nothing there really. Dirty rocks as a beach. Shops never open forget it!

The resort itself was beautiful. It was quiet and relaxing. The beach was too far away, but the complimentary bus available takes you to Playa Americas, and the beach there was magnificent. There is a handful of restaurants and cafes, shops and supermarkets. You could visit them all in afternoon. However the people were okay, and the resort is clean. Tenerife is beautiful, the hotel was a nightmare. Do not be put off Tenerife, but change hotels, i only wish i had!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

resort cleanliness was okay i suppose. resort entertainment was the best thing there. Beach standard (what Beach) there was not one, oh we did find a few rubble and rocks andpbit of water if thats what you call a beach. I would not go back to this hotel if it as free its in the middle of nowhere and dont take children with pushchairs please beware.

The resort is particularly quiet and there is little to do in any direction. However, there are frequent buses to the town. The beach consists mainly of rocks and grey coloured sand and didn't really look appealing. The area was always clean and tidy though. I imagine that if you were in a hotel which didn't provide entertainment or didn't have a pool then your holiday would be pretty disappointing.

Callao Salvaje is a pleasant quiet town ideally placed close to Las Americas and Los Christianos. Admittedly we had a car for the fortnight so travelling wasn't a problem but there are regular buses thet travel to these larger resorts. There are a number of nice bars including Beckhams and Paddy McGintys and plenty of small supermarkets (even a Netto !) Las Americas is one long Bar and you can get plagued by the Timeshare prats but the beach is brilliant. Los Christianos also has a nice beach and plenty of shops to go around.
We would definately visit Callao Salvaje again

There was only a couple of shops, bars and restaurants. They were very expensive as there was no competition. And only one of these was worth a visit Beckhams where the staff were very friendly and we spent several nights.
There was no beach just rocks and a building site.
We would never go back to this resort.

Beach is just rubble but hardly needed anyway.
Good shops and bars but for the real stuff you need to go into town.
It's quiet in Callao Salvaje but you can still have a good night at the 3 Horseshoes!

Dog mess and bad sewer smells.

The resort was quiet with only a few shops and supermarkets. Plenty of bars though. No beach worth talking about so stick to the pool.

The resort was fairly quiet but thats how we liked it. Took a trip to Loro Parque - excellent day out. Make sure you see the dolphin and sea lion show first thing or it gets very busy. Worth trying to arrange own transport as the first choice trip seemed a little expensive. Also went to Skypark. Great for families for children under 12. Had a lovely water park and free activities to try including bungee trampoline and a climbing wall which both my boys loved.
