I suppose the biggest downer to this hotel is that there is no beach in front of it although it lays on the shoreline, with a lovely promenade stretching from Adeje to Caleta. There appeared to be a small sandyish platform outside the boundaries but this was not well kept, so nobody used it.
The food was really good, with a massive selection, and you were allowed to change dinner for lunch, on the same day if you wanted to.
The location was slightly further out than we expected but hey taxis are cheap, and the walk especially along the prom was great, and you get to see lovely place to eat.
The staff on the whole were very nice all except one receptionist, but hey can

This has to be one of the nicest hotels on the island and definitely as good as any you will find in Tenerife.
Location is very quiet, near La Caleta, directly on a pebble beach and with sandy ones nearby. At the far end of the coastal promenade with little shopping or nightlife around it is ideal for a quiet away-from-it-all holiday and everything you need is right there within the hotel.
The place is impressive inside and out it is spotlessly clean and spacious with lovely decor inside and has the prettiest tropical landscaping with waterfalls and fountains around the pool areas.
Plenty of loungers and sunshades, no need to reserve them at dawn here. Pool towels are provided.
There were stunning views from both our balconies. We were lucky to have the best of both worlds, twin room with mountain views and glorious sunrises, suite with pool and sea views which had the beautiful sunsets over the sea towards La Gomera, there cannot be a finer view than this.
The staff here couldn't be friendlier the animation team work hard to provide an excellent mix of activities without being too pushy. All the entertainment we sampled was of excellent standard and they responded very speedily to the one wet day we had with extra indoor activities.
The restaurant is buffet style but also has food cooked to order on the grill and fresh pasta and stir fry cooked while you wait. There was a good variety of dishes and several theme nights. There is a children

I have just returned from the Costa Adeje Gran Hotel, I stayed in a standard double room for 1 week. I was very impressed with the hotel from the minute I got there. I found the staff to be very helpful and efficient. The hotel itself was beautiful and most definatly a 4 star I would go as far to say it it nicer than some of the 5 stars on the island. The travel agent Spanish Luxury Hotels whose website is www.spanishluxuryhotels.co.uk were very helpful, they had a very good knowledge of the hotel and the resort and were extremely helpful on the phone. I would recomend anyone who needs information and great prices to contact them, a week in march cost me under

It's a very nice hotel but rather remote from any amenities. Coastal path from Americas goes as far as the hotel but is unlit on the last stretch and has an unfinished portion which is hard to negotiate in the dark. There is a rather tatty beach in front of the hotel but a far nicer one is a short walk away.
Building work is being undertaken on three sides of the hotel with a new Sheraton not due to be finished until October 04. The noise shouldn't be a problem as long as you're an early riser.
Buffet food was OK but you needed to get in early as they ran out of the popular dishes.

An excellent family hotel with excellent facilities.
The flight was direct from Jersey and Travelmaker were extremely helpful. The direct charter flights are the only way to holiday from Jersey.

This Hotel is at the far end of Costa Adeje and as such there isn`t a great deal around it in terms of bars supermarkets etc. We travelled by taxi to the San Eugenio /Porto Colon area for the evening. The accomodation is excellent, very clean, good facilities and a superb pool area. However you are not alllowed inflatables in the pool which is strictly enforced by the resident lifeguard. There was building work going on around the Hotel but I can honestly say this was almost unnoticeable. Hotel was spotless and the staff very friendly no complaints in this area. Restaurant had a very good selection , my only concern was the guy cooking the steaks, using the same utensil to put the raw steak on the grill and then putting my cooked steak on my plate. I would certainly reccomend it.
