Our first impressions were good.
The apartment was clean, pretty spacious and the surrounding complex with its three pools and bar looked inviting. However our illusions were shattered within 48 hrs.
The food at the hotels restaurant was very poor, we ate there only once. The entertainment promised just never turned up, and the staff were very rude, especially the hotel manager and the room cleaners. Both a camera and watch were taken whilst we were out and the manager suggested that one of us stole it.
Other facilities like the pools and bar were ok but we made every effort to stay away from the complex.
Some of the apartments are also rented out to Spanish residents and we had to put up with a newish born baby crying all night.

The hotel is situated in the middle of know where, there was no entertainment although it was advertised.
There were cleaners but rarely saw them, excepy for the pool staff who did a good job on the pool area daily.
The restaurant food was poor and the pool side bar as very expensive,and while I was there the owners of both were constantly fighting with each other over trade, coming to blows using baseball bats and chairs against each other. This resulted in the local police interveaning.
From the hotel reception there is a ramp to the lower accommodation by the restaurant my partner slipped down it and fell three feet over a wall fracturing her left wrist within our first five days of the holiday, there was no hand rail down the ramp or saftey rail.
This holiday accomadation is well out of the way in a very quiet part of the island fifteen minutes from the nearest town there is no beach close by nearest Los Cristianos. Forty minutes by local bus.
I wood not holiday in this hotel again not even for free, stay well clear go to butlins you will be better catered for.

The hotel was pretty clean but as always with the Canaries, the cockroaches. All over the place in particular outside the hotle restaurant. The pools were clean and there were generally speaking plent of sun loungers although you did have to get up early to claim one. Staff were OK, never saw any entertainment as there had been some sort of "disturbance" in the designated entertainment area and it was cancelled for the time being. Hotel was a bit run down and a lot of the appartments were privately owned. The private owners ran some sort of mafia type organisation where if anyone made a whisper after midnight a security guard would be sent on the prowl. We would rather go else where next time but if desperate would go back.

We had a brilliant time at Alondras Park. Costa Del Silencio is a fantastic place to go and we had some fun nights out the nightlife and food were cheap and excellent. It was a good distance from Americas so gave us a good opportunity to visit the clubs.
The hotel was basic but appropriate for our type of holiday!
Definitely go there again !!

apts were ok had every thing we needed security gaurds at night a pain not allowed to say boo which is hard after a good few drinks but over all we found it pleasant
