What a wonderful feeling when you get off the transfer coach and walk into the captivating reception area of this hotel and first impressions are lasting.

The whole experience of this hotel could not be faulted, spotlessly clean throughout, superb quality food breakfast was never missed and with a good variety every evening, especially liked the grill bar where the steaks and shrimps were mouth watering.

Some would find the location not to thier liking, but the evening stroll along the sea front to a local bar (where the drinks were 40% less) after dinner was needed. There is some development work nearby but really nothing to concern anyone.

The staff were attentive throughout and could not do enough for you.

Entertainment was stereotypical, magic acts, singers who could sing but only the set they knew, as I say the evening walks were great.

The Hotel is amazing this should be a five star Hotel. As far as we could tell every room has a sea view, some of the side sea rooms are over looked abit, but don't let this put you off!! This is a prefect place for couples that like to relax. I wouldn't rate it that high for kids, but I'm not the best judge as I do not have any.

It is just outside the centre of Los Cristianos but is a nice little walk.

The Hotel is spotless, and the food is fantastic special if you like your fish and meats. Just remember to take your enough money with your for drinks as these can be a bit pricey, do try the Arona Gran cocktail it looks amazing and taste the same.

Do be put of if the if it under going refurbishment as this was happening for the whole week we stayed, we didn't find out until the day we left!!! As we understand the did not use the room directly above or below the room being refurbished.

We didn't really get to see much of the evening entertainment but what we did see was very good!! They are lovely and really do make your holiday!!!

If I am to offer you two bits of advise please don't do this holiday with a cheap tour operator, it's well worth spending that little extra. As seat that closely resemble cardboard and a metal stick digging in your back for the duration, and trips that don't happen or that the company don't book you on. Please do not travel with Airtours in our opinion they are not that brilliant a company, and you may end up regretting it!!! But do go to this Hotel it is possible the nicest I have ever been to!!!!

Cosmos got us to the hotel in style, by taxi, and we were soon delt with at reception, but how I wish they would try and smile.
We were given room 525 and I recommend you ask for this room, as the views from it are stunning( we had e-mailed the hotel and asked for a high floor/seaview).
It was a large room with the most comfortable big beds. Plenty of storage space and a very nice bathroom. TV, mini-bar(expensive)and safe are all in the room. Bath robes and beach towels are also provided and sheets and bathroom towels were changed each day.
Breakfast was a big affair, buffet style, and you could tuck away enough to last all day.
Dinner we found to be a bit bland, though in fairness the salad bar was marvellous and we often made this our main meal.Plenty of fresh fruit and varity of cheese.
There were plenty of sun beds and it was never a problem getting them. The pools were lovely and clean ( 3 of them, one for kiddies)
We did not sample the entertainment at the hotel, preferring to go into the resort at night. Would we go back? Yes, and most likely will

The hotel was well located in a quiet part of the island. The walk into the centre took about 15 minutes. It was on the flat and suitable for wheelchair use.
The hotel was in excellent condition the cleanest I have been in for a while.
The staff where very friendly and polite.
The towels were changed daily but the sheets only once during the week.
The entertainment was okay.

We thoroughly enjoyed the facilities of this Hotel.

We were bed and breakfast although did eat in on one evening which I personally would not do again. Previous report correct in that evening meal bland. Breakfast excellent though. Lunch at pool bar also 5*.

Staff very helpful and friendly.

We arrived just before half term and there were loads of old people, but once half term visitors arrived average age dropped drastically. Our kids 16, 6 & 4 loved the pools. Beware though pool towels are scarce after 8am and lots of sunbed grabbers who are out at work soon after 7am although Hotel remove peoples towels etc if sun bed hasn't been used for a couple of hours which serves them right.

Easy to walk into town of an evening for meals or entertainment, which I would recommend as hotel entertainment is at best dire!

Sunday market next door to hotel well worth a visit also cheap taxi ride to Mediterranean Palace hotel where there are loads of good quality shops and restaurants.

We are going back at New Year with friends who have also stayed there before.

Stayed here october 2004 enjoyed it so much we are going back this October.

10 min walk to the centre but there are a few bars round about to watch the fotball on if you want. Pools in the hotel great, well equipped Gym if that takes your fancy and the room we had, had a fantastic view of the bay and Los C.

Hotel is clean and tidy, staff always helpful, clean towels everyday for the pool as well.

The only minor problem was the 6am reserving of sunbeds, but hotel staff do patrol the pool area and any reserved sunbeds unused by 10.30/11am the towels are removed.

We arrived at 8.30pm and was immediately impressed
with the size and the sheer luxury of the Arona Gran.
The Bedroom was a decent size and we had a side view
of the sea.
We stayed half-board and whilst breakfast was very
good, i found the evening meal quite bland(although my wife liked most things that were on offer). We found
the staff on the whole very good. The hotel has 3
pools which were kept clean and tidy and there were
plenty of sun beds. The evening entertainment could have been a bit livelier but we found an excellant bar about 2 mins walk from the hotel called the 'Church'
were there was Live entertainment.
All in all we found the Aron Gran extremly good and would definetely go there again.

Having visited Tenerife on half a dozen occasions, this is by far and away the best hotel we haved stayed in. The food was superb, the room excellent and though the better beach in Los Cristianos is about 15 to 20 mins walk away, it is a pleasant stroll enabling you to walk off those pounds which are so easily accrued during a holiday.

I have rated the entertainment a 3 but only because we didn't sample much of it as we went outside the hotel most evenings. There is an excellent bar 200 metres away called The Church with great friendly service and good entertainment.

The atmosphere in this hotel is very relaxed and I wouldn't recommend it for those with young families. My only real critiscism would be the lack of courtesy rooms available on departure.

Overall, excellent value.

This Hotel Is The Most Luxurious On The Island,It's Tucked Away Right At The End Of The Beach Which Is Only A Small Walk Into Playa De Las Americas Where It Becomes Very Lively Until The Early Hours.
Los Christianos Is Much More Quiet And Peaceful.
Ask Reception To Call You A Cab And It's There Within Minutes.Food Is First Class And Something For Everyone,Hygiene Excellent.
Watch Out For Mini-Bar In Room(It Soon Adds Up!)

Best Time To Go...Last Weekend In August,Playas Hold An All Night Festival,With The Biggest And Best Firework Display(Goes On For Ages !)And Boat Floats!
Can't Wait To Go Back.
Oh...See The Drag Act In Playas...Fantastic Night Out.
