Upgrade to superior room, Higher up and therefore quieter, much larger. Don't keep your key card anywhere near a mobile phone as it can strip the information from the card which I found out to my cost as I was on the 13th floor.

The people at book it now were brilliant at getting my request done which was sea view and large terrace
Tips for others going request at the beginning a sea view as we did this and had a lovely one.

Were in this apartment B-302. Well equipped and comfortable, buna guidance afternoon sun on the terrace overlooking one of the pools and the beach.
There are luxury apartments but they are quiet and comfortable, with plenty of light.

When booked the holiday we requested not to be on bottom floor, on arrival was located on the bottom floor we asked to be moved the receptionist said to return at 8am and we will be moved.
When we returned the receptionist said we should never have been told that because they were fullybooked for a month so we were lied to.
The rooms were very dark and we had around seven cockroaches during the week, we were woken up around 7.30am every day with the staff being noisy.

Resort centre itself is clean and has an abundance of shops, restaurants, bars, amusement arcades and street entertainers.
Has an excellent market on a Sunday but beware as there are loads and loads of time share agents on the prowl. didn't go on the beach but it looked very clean.
The bars offered karaoke, quiz nights, bingo and there are a few nightclubs.

Los Christianos is, I believe, one of the quieter resorts. Certainly there weren't any groups of twenty-somethings rolling about drunk.
The restaurants were a mixed bag of 'chicken and chips' types and more sophisticated (and more expensive) quality places.
The beach looked good but we didn't venture there.
Shopping opportunities were good for a small resort.
A very pleasant, relaxed non-threatening atmosphere. And the weather was fantastic.

The resort was very good and has everything you need. The bars and restaurants have very good prices! (would recommend the Chinise Pekins you got an all you can eat buffet for just 6E and the Church where you can get a three course meal for 6E! Alot of bars have entertainment on most nights and there are lots of English bars that have most English football matches on! There is 1 rocky beach that is nearest the complex but if you walk futher round you will find a very good beach with plenty of shops, bars and restaurants right beside it. The beach provides a variety of water sports including jet skiing, scuba diving, pedalos, banana boats and parascending ( which i did and if was great!) We also visited the Aqua Park, this is a really good day out but take lots of sun cream because there isn't much shade! The slides are great fun and the Dolphin show is amazing. Me and my Mam payed 50E each to train the dolphins which was an amazing experience and was graet value for money!

We stayed in Los Cristianos in Tenerife which we really enjoyed. As 30 somethings we liked this resort much better than neighbouring Las Americas which I would say is more suited to younger people. Would definately recommend Los Cristianos.

Our favourite bar was "The Church", located a couple of hundred yards down from the Arona Gran Hotel. There was a resident singer and compere and a couple of different acts each evening. Some were good and some were *****, but it was a laugh.
Plenty of nice restaurents and bars in the resort.
We would say that Los Cristianas is a good place for familys and couples and is well geared up for the disabled in wheelchairs.

Stayed at Paloma Beach for a week and tried a few of the restaurants but kept going back to "The Church" as short distance from the Arona Gran.
Excellent value for money with ample choice of three course meals for 4.50 euros until 8.30pm then 6 euros until 10.00pm (the latter even dropped to 5.50 euros on the night we left). Bottle of house wine only 7.90 euros.
Good entertainment (sometimes three acts per night) and friendly efficient staff.
Also tried the Roma Italian restaurant along the promenade and enjoyed a great meal there. Can also highly recommend "Rosie's Cantina" - an excellent Mexican restaurant attached to the Royal Palms complex a short walk up the hill.

What can I say that hasn't been said before? Other than this was our 1st visit to Tenerife but definately not our last, we loved the place. From the shops, to the restaurants, although we didn't try any eating places that were not previously recommended through this site, we played safe and visited ones that people rated and we were not disappointed. We did not hire a car as we were only there for a week and we did intend it to be a relaxing break so after visiting the shops 1st thing in the morning, we spent the rest of the day into the early evening sunbathing, the weather was so lovely we just had to!! I would just like to add that by registering with this website it saved us a lot of time finding good restaurants and beaches and shops, every time I had a question it was answered almost immediately and was spot on every time. The members are so friendly that I have told everyone I know to register, I would certainly not book a holiday again without checking out the comments here, so a big thank you to everyone.

The resort was reasonably clean, entertainment a bit on the quiet time, but that may be due to the time of year we went.
The beach was really clean and well kept.

Have visited Tenerife several times and keep going back - no reason not to.
We go self catering as there are plenty of places to eat in Tenerife, plenty of bars, we go to a very friendly bar just opposite the Aguamar called Yela's it is very clean, friendly and the owners and staff are brill. Best of all no karaoke.
