There's a few touristy shops and a couple of bars etc. but not much more. There's a fairly large supermarket down the hill a bit but take your spannish dictionary as its products are all in spannish. Couldn't decide which was shampoo and which was conditioner!
There's a free bus into Los cristianos/Las Americas so just five mins to a bit of life. Very quiet except at weekends when our hotel was filled with Spannish twenty-somethings as the all inc. was a very good deal for them. Paraiso reminds me of Los Cristianos 20 years ago - almost built!
It'll be nice when it's finished but then we'll be complaining that it's too busy!

The resort itself was very quiet a few bars and a couple of places to eat

Yes, I agree the resort is only small and there is some building work going, but where isn't there?! But there is plenty to do at the hotel, the pool area is great & if you hire a car, Costa Adeje and Las Americas are only a short drive away. If you go expecting Las Americas, it aint. But for one, I prefer to have peace & quiet on holiday, at least you can sleep at night!
We are returning in September, with our children.

The resort is not somewhere to go unless you hire a car as there is nothing to do, not many bars, did not see any clubs at all, and only few restaurants. Would not go back unless hired a car to get out into some livlier areas.

Not much of a resort, a few bars and shops. But the hotel made up for that.

i have never been so horrified in all my life. We paid just over £1500 for a beach holiday. although when we arrived i decided to take the children to the beach in the afternoon, only to find that there was no beach. It was a pile of mud and stones that was barred off and you couldn't access. The resort was very quiet, there were a few shops, about two bars and a few cafes which we decided to take the children in, we then discovered that your food came with flies as an added extra. I advise you to take a taxi and spend time in las americas or just go there on holiday, at least theres a beach there !!!!!
