Go to Benidorm at least you will feel welcome there. Food ok but Staff will hate you can’t get a drink at night waiters avoid the Brits more so at weekends when the place is jammed with Spanish, empty the rest of the week. Mealtimes are geared to Spanish times, 8 pm for evenings, and no food available at the bar in the day 15 euros for buffet lunch.

Mojacar Playa is a Spanish resort. By that I mean it is extremely popular with Spanish holiday makers. If that is a problem please dont go. This hotel too is popular with Spanish holiday makers and if that is a problem well simply dont go. We went and to tell the truth it is not at all bad. We paid under

Arrived back last night from this hotel. This is definately not a 4 star hotel. I normally book 4 star as usually get a good standard.
The rooms were very big with large beds but this is where the 4 star ends. The hotel cleanliness was really quite poor with lots of dust in the bedrooms.
The restaurant curtains were quite disgusting with lots of food stains on them. The hotel food was again of poor quality except when the Spanish influx arrived at the weekend. We were also asked to move from the table we had chosen to accommodate them. One of the waitresses in the restaurant was repeatedly very rude to us.
The downstairs entertainment area was also very poor with very basic furnishings. The location of the hotel is a long way out of mojacar playa with no shops bars etc in the vicinity but I knew this before booking and was quite happy as I was only going to have 6 days of a chill out holiday. I was however disappointed that out of the four hotels within that area two of them had already been closed for the winter.
The hotel also does seem to have a large amount of children who are allowed to run up and down the corridors late at night.
Next time it will have to be the lovely hotel next door.

There is not much to fault with this hotel. It did all you would expect for 4 stars. The room was large with 2 double beds.
The food was very good - At breakfast there was Cava & lots of choice to eat. The one weakness was the fatty bacon. A chef cooked eggs, fried omellette etc. to your liking.
The evening meals were great, with a huge choice. the fish was always particularly good. A chef cooked various meats to order.
The staff were all polite & very pleasant.
The other guests seemed to be fairly cosmopolitan with a large number of Spanish at the weekend. (When the food got even better!)
The hotels one weakness is its location. It is at the bus terminus for Mojacar Playa, a 10 minute walk to the nearest bar. It is actually nearer to Garrucha, a very pleasant place.
