I've just returned from the Beni Beach Apartments in Benidorm. The rooms are basic (no kettle or microwave) and you have to heat water in a pan for tea/coffee. The towels were like cardboard - take your own. Hotel staff very dour faced. Had to pay 10 euros to play tennins on their courts. Pool small and no chairs to sit on these are located in what could be described as a car park and are chained to the ground. The entertaiment is like something out of Hi-Di-Hi and not funny in the way it should be. My room had no mirror and all the lights are full blast no lamps. Balcony is big with views to the ocean although no sun as they are covered. Rooms were clean however no cleaning while we were they all week. Cooker very slow. All in all I would not return here.

We went to the Beni beach apartments in April this year.

The rooms are very basic and could do with a re-vamp but fab sea views and gigantic balcony! Located right on the beach and just 5 mins walk from shops and small bars and cafes, the clubs, restaurants and larger bars are about a 20 min walk away but taxis are only about 4 euros.

Very friendly staff, pleasant pool area but could perhaps invest in more sun loungers for the grassy area beside the pool instaed of expecting you to sun bathe in the car park!

We stayed at the Torre Beni Beach Apartments for 1 week. First floor 1 bedroomed apartment, situated above the reception area. No noise from below throughout the whole of the hoilday the most noise came from children on roller blades skating along the tiled floors and from the apartment nextdoor!!

Apartment was very clean, only down points were that we had to boil our water in a pot on the electric hob - if you are gagging for a brew take a travel kettle, also no microwave which meant I was heating my sons baby food in a pan on the hob, quite a few too hot meals I can tell you!!

I've read other reports regarding the 1 toilet roll rule, yes its daft but not a big issue! Entertainment was minimal - 1 night for a weeks holiday, we were told by other guests that the entertainers had gone away on their holiday.

I've also read about a grumpy night receptionist, must not work there anymore as I have nothing but praise for them, very nice, kind and sympathetic were how I found them.

The apartments are located half way down Poniente Beach, close to some nice cafes - coach & horses, Hendrys to name a couple. Head up the old town & up a hilly road and you find Sherrys - wonderful food, great staff.

This hotel was great. I'm a teenager and I loved it. We went down in the lift walked no more then 10 steps and you were at the beach.

The beach is visible from your rooms with a great view of the ocean. The pool is okay and has a huge grass area surrounding it for relaxation.

The night life is no more than a 10-15 minutes walk or an easy cab drive. The bar is very clean and they also have a games room with 4 pool tables and a lot of arcade games. Our rooms were extremely comfortable.

There was a shop at the beach side were you could buy breakfast and food and there is also a few cafes incase you dont want to cook. Over all we loved this holiday and are looking forward to returning.

Hi we went on holiday for two weeks, the hotel was nice the bar was nice and their was entertainment on every Monday, Wednesday, Friday, Sunday. On Wednesday two singers would come in and sing and on Sunday there is a parrot show.

The apartments were massive. We were on the 21st floor and the view was breathtaking.

We were at the beach everyday. We did not use the pool as we thought it was quite small nor did we stay in for the entertainment.

This was my husband and I first holiday without the kids. It was quite a trek to the new town which we did twice a day for food and entertainment.

Would go back but not in the near future.

I have just returned from my holiday in Benidorm and I stayed at the Beni Beach apartments. I travelled with my dad and friend and we booked this holiday last minute. We knew where we were staying before we arrived and so did a little research on the place before I went. Most people have quite alot of negative views on this accommadation, but in my opinion I thought it was excellent.

Our room was a 2 bedroomed apartment which slept up to 6 and it was very clean and spacious, I have no complaints on that.

The food in the actual hotel, downstairs in the bar, is not really too pleasing, we tried a pizza and wasn't really impressed, so after that we went to a small English cafe next to the supermarket outside Beni Beach apartments.

The location could depend on the age of the person and what interests that individual has. With me being only 15, I am said to be at an awkward age, too young to do some things and too old to do others.

The main British square is about a 20 to 25 minute walk from the accomodation but taxis can be ordered, this costs between 5-7 euros to the square. We went to the square every night to the pubs and clubs, my dad liked to go into the cabaret place whilst my friend and I enjoyed going into Bahamas. Sinatras and Chaplin's are also good bars/clubs.

The staff in the hotel are very friendly and very English. I have read several complaints about the man who works on reception through the night, he musn't be the same one as I met as he is very helpful, knows good English and has a laugh all the time.

The entertainment is to a reasonable standard for this accomadation. Again, I have read complaints about the lack of entertainment provided, in my opinion it is what is expected, there ia a kareoke every other night which attracts mainly younger children and few adults. A walk down the road is where you want to be to get a high standard of entertainment.

But a bit of advice is to avoid drinking at the beach front bars as they tend to be more expensive and alco-pops are expensive in most bars throughout Benidorm.

My husband and I took this holiday on a whim, we only stayed for 4 days but enjoyed the location. The commodation was allocation on arrival so we were a little concerned about where we were staying. We were lucky to have a beautiful panoramic view of the beach which was only a 5 minute walk away. The facilities where adequate for our requirements. I was disapointed that the TV in the room could only be watched if we paid 30 euros for the week as we were only there for 4 days (not that we wanted the TV on)! The cleanliness wasn't the best ive seen by any means, sitting on the sofa's was like sitting on the beach full of sand.

I would not of paid the full amount for this accommodation although we still paid alot for this holiday.
