Apprehensive after reading the reviews but very pleasantly surprised Great location,and we had a balcony which as we are smokers was a big bonus . Food good,plenty of choice,and hotel spotless. Staff all welcoming and friendly.Will be back. ???

Hotel tip: Great wee beach at the bottom of the road and Vincent’s bar across the road for great karaoke.Bar staff excellent especially Duncan.Balcony not always guaranteed. The other hotels we visited were also welcoming and they had an outdoor pool. Cristal park and Villa Benidorm. Excellent. We will return. ???

A lovely hotel. Very Clean, great staff and generous food and drinks menu. We stayed in March 06, this happened to be the Spanish Fortnight as I was told. This is when all Spanish Pensioners get their two week free holiday off the state. This was my only critisim of the hotel. We could not use the lift, We were pushed and shoved every breakfast, lunch and dinner time by the lovely elderley folk. Apart from that we had a great time here. Rooms were cleaned daily. Staff were great and the food was fine!

I would most definateley come again !!!

This was our third visit to the Fenicia. We had a room on the 6th floor, overlooking the marina - we were right next to the lifts at the far end of the corridor so we found very little congestion with the lifts. The food isn't that brilliant - we had breakfast there and the rest of our meals at the Crystal park which has a much nicer dining room and the food is lovely. The Fenicia is always full of Spanish pensioners as the government give them 2 weeks holiday a year - but we have always found them to be very friendly (the secret is to learn a few words in Spanish, like good morning etc as this goes down well with them!!). There are 2 bars, one a smokers bar, and the other one, for non smokers is where the entertainment is held. The Spaniards love to dance and as soon as the duo starts up they are on the dance floor - even people who have come in with zimmers manage to get round the dance floor!! If you want an action packed holiday then this is NOT the place for you but it is a nice quiet hotel with reasonable entertainment - and you have the added advantage of being able to use any of the other hotels in the Magic group in Benidorm!

The hotel is in an excellent position in the old town about 100yds from beach.

We were on the 4th floor good size bathroom bedroom was a bit tired and unwelcoming we had a balcony no view only over a side street.

The hotel was full of Spanish pensioners all very friendly.

The food was canteen standard. We went to the crystal park for our evening meals all though the basic menus were the same theirs had many extra choices and was very good.

The staff in our hotel were excellent.

What we liked best was all you had to do was walk out of the hotel into the old town which was very good at night shops open till about 10pm. Bars and restaurants.
