Off the beaten track- we were the only English there!

Nice enough hotel- clean, and worthy of the two stars.

We stayed self-catering, pool area clean- prices average- but all they did food wise was frozen pizzas and baguettes.

The rooms were absolutely fine-on parr with any 2/3 * star hotels we have stayed in. We were the only British there- all the other guests were Spanish o.a.p.s- who believe me were very ignorant- despite us speaking very good Spanish- they were inconsiderate in a morning having their televisions blaring, and slamming their doors going down for breakfast.

The location not quite so good- it was a good 15 minutes away from the old/new town- with absolutely nothing in the vicinity- 1 supermarket-which sold hardly anything- and 2 bars (1 of which does serve food- but awful- and I’m not so fussy!!)

I’ll be honest -this was a cheap week away (not our main holiday) - so we did go for "cheap"- I think the saying "you get what you pay for- rings true!!

Next time I will pay that bit extra and stay more central- and if that is your thing staying in the more "Spanish" quarters, not minding the location, and nothing around the area- then the hotel is absolutely fine- unfortunately it just wasn’t for us.

Pleasantly surprised and have booked to return

Wasn't expecting much, but was very surprised, there was four of us, my friends had just been married that morning and we flew out to the Joya Hotel in Benidorm. It was situated in the middle of the old and new Benidorm.

The hotel was very clean and staff were lovely, most could speak English, there was maid service every day and a clean change of towels every day. Rooms were spacious and very comfortable. Food, well there was always something we could eat even though it was mainly Spanish food always meat and fish on and a good salad bar. The pool area was lovely to sit out and a bar where you could get a nice selection of sandwiches(I'm quite a fussy person)and I have booked again for a short break in February.

the hotel was very clean. The maids service was excellent. We stayed half board, breakfast and dinner were typical spanish hotel fayre, nothing to shout about but o.k. The hotel is not too far away from the beach or the hustle and bustle of the shops and night life..I found the staff helpful and friendly.the entertainment was not to my taste, it was ballroom dancing, o.k for some just not for me(you dont go to benidorm and stay in the hotel anyway). I would definately stay at this hotel again. This was my first visit to benidorm but it will not be my last,it is a great place and caters for everyone, when i return i will try and stay at the hotel Joya..

We travelled on a "mature" lads few days away. We booked half board as there was no other option. Only ate in restaurant once. That was because we wanted to eat out and was not a reflection of the food which on one occasion we witnessed it was simple but plentiful

Hotel is located just off main carriageway towards back of resort..7-10 mins walk from centre of Old Town...12-15 mins walk to Levante beach and the "square" area of nightlife.Hotel and rooms spotless...good aircon..modern bathrooms with one of most reliable/powerful showers I've experienced overseas.

Nice quiet pool area with plenty of sunbeds..mostly Spanish clientel whilst we were there.

Staff very helpful and friendly..we watched world cup semis on big screen in hotel bar..plenty of good humoured banter.Safety deposit boxes in reception for nominal fee.

We are regular visitors to Benidorm and will definately use this hotel again as

This was a last minute dicision to fetch some friends back from Spain.

This hotel was in a good location not far from the beach, shops, taxi and bus stops. Food was good and plenty of it.

It was clean everywhere, staff were polite, helpful and spoke good English, not too much entertainment but we were out most nights so we never benifited from it.

Would go back as it was a good price and I would rate it higher than a 2 star.
