Location
The food was fab plenty to choose from I'm a fussy eater but I always found something to eat. The staff were all very friendly and spokk good english The only thing I didm't like about the hotel was my room it was very small and I had to pay a single supplement for it but after all you don't spent much time in the room, I would go back to this hotel and would recommend it to anyone.
Can't say anything about the entertainment as I was never in the hotel. I travelled on my own but the people in the hotel made me very welcome.

The meals was excellent but the only draw back was I stayed there for two weeks so on the second week we got the same choice of meals as we did in the first week. The cleanliness of this Hotel is fantastic for a 3 star hotel and cleaners can be seen all day making sure that the hotel is kept that way.
The location is very good but again there is a drawback, the hotel is built on a very busy crossroads with traffic lights and of course the spanish can be very impatient whilst waiting at traffic lights thus we have to put up with the pipping of horns all day and till late at night and can be heard very clearly at the front bar and if you have a pool view room then you can hear the hooters when on your balcony or with the balcony door open.
The hotel staff were terrific, in the dining room a special mention of thanks to a waitress called "Rosa" who looked after us with the personal touch, spoke excellent english and was very pleasent and smiling.
The room cleaner, (Toni) was very good, spoke little english but would help in anyway and always smiling and laughing.
The entertainment in this hotel I am sorry to say has a lot to be desired, and also it has been the same entertainers for over the last 5 years, but then again that does not spoil the holiday as there are loads of bars and other hotels offering alsorts of entertainment in less than a 5 minute walk from the hotel.
I would certainly go to this hotel again infact I shall be booking very soon for my 2006 holiday.
I am a pensioner together with my friend that went with me and is what I like about this hotel that it is very popular with senior citizens so I was made to feel at home.
So be advised to the teenagers that go to this hotel it might not be your cup of tea as far as the entertainment goes but you aint got far to go to find it.

The hotel is in an excellent location being only ten minutes to the beach and just across the road from numerous shops and a supermarket.
The staff were very friendly and spoke very good english. They were always there at reception to change travellers cheques and gave us a better rate than exchange shops in town.
We didn't see much of the hotel entertainment as we were out quite a lot, think there was a keyboard player on a couple of nights.
The only problem we found with the Nereo was the selection of food. They do not seem to take british guests into consideration when planning their menus at all. Lots of fish, pork and veal dishes as well as tripe and rabbit stew! Luckily there were sliced potatoes fried and chips on a couple of evenings but for the cost of the weeks holiday we expected to eat a lot better than we were able to.
Children would have found very little to keep them happy food wise, I was glad I hadn't brought mine!

Food is excellent loads of choice.
Hotel in nice position near to beach, shops, the square etc. We didn't stay in at night as entertainment seemed to be for older people but there is loads of bars with shows on in Benidorm so it didn

Staff are Brilliant, The Rooms are spotless as is the Pool and the rest of the Hotel, Have stayed in other Hotels in Benidorm some of a higher rating which have not been of the same high standards.
On writing this have just Booked for a week this October but the Tour Operators are saying Sorry Fully Booked have phoned the Hotel Direct and have booked it, Good English spoken and Friendly. No hassle.
Not for anyone with Kids that want Entertainment or Kids Clubs, Entertainment consistes of a Organ Player. Food more Spanish/Continental but what would you expect in SPAIN it isnt Blackpool.

The food was lovely and there was plenty of choice. For breakfast there was a choice of cooked eggs bacon etc. , cereal, oats with hot milk, croissants and sweet pastries, fruit , yoghurt, toast and jam/honey etc. and there was a variety of juices or tea and coffee.
Lunch was usually a choice of a fish dish , meat dish , veg dish with chips/pots or veg/salad or a different type of paella every day.
Dinner was a wide choice of dishes but they also had a theme each night, such as, seafood, barbecue, dessert, and would put a seperate selection out according to the theme.
With all meals there was a selection of breads and with lunch and dinner there was a wide selection of desserts which were lovely.
The food always tasted nice no matter what i ate and believe me i tried everything!
THe hotel also provided a packed lunch if you wanted to go out for the day.
The location of the hotel was very good , its 5 mins walk from both the beach and 10 mins from the nightlife yet it is far enough away not to here the noise. There was also a very good exchange booth over the road from the hotel next to J J's which always give good rates and was commision free on sterling.
There was also a little pub over the road which done a pint of lager for a euro.
THe hotel is also in a good location for shopping as there is plenty of shops nearby.
I cant say too much about the entertainment in this hotel as i didnt see much of it but from what i did see it wasnt too good although the parrot show was good. One night they had on an organist!! oh dear.I think this hotel caterd more for old people as about 70% of the guests are oaps. THe good thing about that is the pool wasnt crowded and there was always sunbeds available as the older people like the shade. The main people around the pool were younger ones and families and their kids.
The staff were always very friendly and they always remembered you for example when me and the other 2 girls went down for dinner without our fellas the waiters on the door were sayin "What's wrong, where are the boys?", the staff couldnt be any more polite.
I would definitely visit this hotel again as it really makes your holiday good when your hotel is good like this one.
I would'nt recommen this hotel to a group of young people lookin for a 18 to 30's type holiday as it has a more grown up relaxed atmosphere.

The hotel was extremely clean throughout. Bedrooms were nicely decorated and cleaned daily, each room had a television which showed 2 English videos every day. We were delighted with the food it was of a high standard and had a wide variety of things to eat especially if you like deserts. However children and people who prefer plain food are not really catered for.
Entertainment during the day is non-existent and nightime is catered more towards the Spanish but as Benidorm offers a variety to suit all tastes it did not bother us. Regards Chrisa

The hotel is very clean and well situated, rooms are tidied and beds made every day. If you leave your towels in the bath, they will also be changed every day. The rooms are well air-conditioned and there is still a tv in each room. You have to pay a 10 Euro deposit for the remote control, which you get back at end of stay. Fridges can be hired for approx 10 Euros per week which I found excessive as the fridges are not that cold.
Breakfast is just the normal, lunch and dinner tend to be very alike and I found that they did not cater for the British tastes very well at all especially children. The menu does repeat itself a lot and by the second week you will be looking to eat out. We used the Levante Chino restaurant just a few yards up from the hotel who did an all you can eat buffet for 6 Euro's per person which was well worth the money. The pool area opens at around 8.45am to let you put the towels on the beds. Obviously it will depend on how busy the hotel is as to whether you would need to do this early or not. Most of the staff were pleasant enough, still some who needed personality transplants though.
All in all the hotel was fine, I wouldn't pay so much to go back there though.
