The Riudor was recommended as a quiet hotel in a central location... and the recomendation certainly proved to be spot on in one respect. The overwhelmingly elderly, seemingly 100% British guests were very quiet and respectful of the other guests need for relaxation. Outside, things were not always so peaceful... but then this IS Benidorm afterall!!!
The hotel was kept spotlessly clean. Neta, the maid on our floor, has to be the the most cheerful person in the world... lovely. The rest of the staff throughout the hotel were friendly and ever willing to help... even the(overly)hard worked waitresses.
The furnishings are basic but comfortable - especially the beds. Nice marble bathroom too.
Food was a lot better than some of the fare I have experienced at other similar resort hotels with plenty of menu rotation and choice. Just one worry though... Chicken Mardas with Pasta??? What were they thinking?!!?
The hotel location was fine. As I said earlier, it could get noisy outside but the double glazing helped cut that down slightly. Otherwise, central to all that Levante has to offer.
Entertainment? Well, I am not in much of a position to comment since we did not really stick about the lounge area long enough to find out. However, from what I did see, the nightly Bingo (arrgh!) / Keyboards & Singer / Old Time Singer / Wholesome Drag Artiste type offerings seemed to go down well with the older audience.
All in all, a very pleasant hotel to stay in (apart from the appauling attitude of some of the guests to us "young un's who shouldn't be in our hotel". Young? I'm 40 yrs old!! Guess I should be flattered really)...... but that's just a side issue I guess.

We stayed at this hotel over New Year and had a brilliant time.
The staff were great, we were served a 4 course meal for new years eve with free wine & champagne. Food is catered for British taste and the only complaint was the desert menu was a bit limited, but we always found something we could enjoy.
The rooms were good, and the shower was always hot, maids were very efficient & friendly.
Pool area was a bit basic with only large chairs which are very comfy, but no sun beds.
Its only a small hotel by Benidorm standards, but it's right in the heart of everything. It's very near some music bars, but we had no trouble with noise.
We would definitely go back to this hotel again, and may be going for New Year 2006.
The reason we haven't score the entertainment very high is because we didn't stay in, except for New Year.

3 star hotel with 4 star food and service.
The head waiter was also the best entertainer I have ever seen,he had the adults and kids rolling around with fits of laughter.
Only 7 minutes walk to the beach. All the rooms and other hotel areas are air conditioned.
The hotel staff would allways go that extra mile to make sure you had a lovely holiday.

The hotel was very clean, the rooms were cleaned every day and the towels and bed linen were changed on a regular basis.
The food was good if a bit repetive. We were hardly in for the hotel entertainment, but what we heard was fine.
